Gaiam is a trusted brand and the description sounded good. No disappointment (read some bad reviews) - bands are 60-inch and labeled light, medium, and heavy. Love the modern colors. I'm a youthful 62-year old - powerwalk daily; rowing machine 3 times a week. My goal is to re-shape my upper arms - especially triceps. Even a 10lb. hand weight sitting, or standing puts pressure on my lower back which is a big no-no for me. I'm confident these resistance bands will help me reach my goal. These easy to clean, easy to stow bands are great for doing basic stretches and some workouts. Unlike most Gaiam products, I was surprised to find these don't come with a DVD (though they do have a printout with 4 basic workouts/stretches). However, there are tons of videos on youtube of how to use them so I didn't find that to be a big issue. The only reason I wouldn't give them 5 stars is that the bands themselves are not clearly labeled with the resistance. So if you toss the box and packaging away, you have to fiddle with them to figure out which is which. I would prefer to be able to read the resistance (lbs) or at least light/med/heavy on the bands themselves. But that is a minor issue. They work great and would absolutely buy again. ... show more
