I had a G-Story portable monitor for my PS4, so I already had a favorable impression of the brand. This monitor more than lives up to that impression. The screen is vivid, the speakers are great for a travel solution, and it doesn't add any more heft to the footprint than it needs to.

There are some good things about this and it does them well enough. But there are few things that it could do better. The good: • Very bright • Rich color • Decent blacks • VRR • Responsive • Bang for buck The not so good: • Slight ghosting • Loud clicky buttons • No real HDR • Obtuse menu • Bad image presets Overall, if you’re looking for that gaming laptop feel, this checks those boxes. Just don’t expect to be blown away by this product. I don’t regret my purchase by any means as it gets the job done. I think this should be on every Series S owners radar, but keep the caveats in mind if you’re particular about image quality. I bought the monitor out of curiosity and to possibly travel with the Xbox Series S in the future. I was impressed on how easy the installation was. One note: when connecting the Xbox through HDMI, use port 2. I talked with their customer service, and HDMI 1 only supports 4K&30Hz and can be used to connect other devices. I don’t know much about specs, but I did test port 1 and it was able to be used as a 2nd monitor for my laptop. I’ve played a few games so far and it went well. Decent response time and I have no issues with the image quality. The speakers are surprisingly loud. I haven’t tested the audio outputs yet, but I’m glad it’s there. I also want to mention that their customer service was great. They answered my questions and also helped out with the promotional items that I forgot to get in my initial purchase. Overall, if you can get this on sale with the promo items, I think it’s worth getting. ... show more

This screen was the best purchased ever, I was waiting for this so anxiously because I now can play my Xbox whenever I travel, especially since I travel a lot and hate having to plug in my Xbox onto the hotel TVs, now I can just pop it open and go straight to playing. Can't always find a TV that's going to work in a pinch and figuring out hotel room TV HDMI connections plus switching to inputs can be a PITA. Wasn't sure I wanted to invest this much $$ into my Series S console, but glad I did. Nice screen, great picture and won my first 'battle royale' played on it. Kids enjoy using the setup. If you are wondering how much power it pulls for those remote scenarios, in game play it was pulling about 90 watts in total for both console and screen. ... show more

Reviews looked good but some have complained about screen quality not being as good as their monitor/tv but in my opinion, this is an excellent quality screen. I have a relatively expensive gaming monitor I bought for $750 and I thought I'd notice a huge difference in quality but I don't see much at all. This is a very good screen at a very good price. I got mine for $299-$70 coupon so $230 is a decent price for a 14" monitor. I don't play as much as I'd like because I don't want to go sit by myself when the kids go to bed , so my wife and I can hang out in bed or on the couch and talk and chill out while she watches a show and I can play some games.
