Size: 32GB (2x16GB) Color: Matte black
I recently invested in the G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB Series (Intel XMP) 32GB DDR5 memory, and I must say, it's worth every penny. While it may cost a bit more than its competitors, the stability, performance, and sheer aesthetic appeal make it a standout choice. First and foremost, the stability of this memory module is exceptional. It performs flawlessly, even under demanding workloads and intense gaming sessions. I experienced no crashes or performance issues, allowing me to push my system to its limits with confidence. The reliability of G.Skill's Trident Z5 series is truly impressive. Speaking of performance, this memory module is a beast. With a clock speed of 6400MHz and low CL32-39-39-102 timings, it delivers lightning-fast data transfer rates and snappy response times. This translates into improved overall system performance and a seamless multitasking experience. • Put your RAM in the correct slots!
Size: 32GB (2x16GB) Color: Matte black
Awesome RAM set. RGB works with ASUS Aura Sync. No issues there. I did have issues during my initial build while installing Windows 11 Pro. I was continually getting BSODs left and right. I was worried I had a damaged component somewhere. I checked the seating of the RAM, the motherboard, video card, nVME SSD, all kinds of stuff. 3 hours later I forgot about that damn Intel XMP profile. It seems a little counter-intuitive, you HAVE to run Intel XMP profiles in BIOS otherwise your RAM will run at something crazy slower, like 70% less whatever your rated speed is. Alas, I discovered the issue was WHERE I had placed my RAM. Most mobos will have their RAM slots in this order: A1, A2, B1, B2. I had them in A1 and A2. Seems like it should be fine there, right? Nope. Re-seated the RAM in slots A2 and B2, turned the default Intel XMP profile on in BIOS, booted to Windows, and checked speed with CPUZ-ID. Boom, RAM was running at its rated speed, 6400MHz. Ran several stress tests. No more BSODs! Hooray! System was stable. It’s 2024 ffs, we should be able to put RAM in any slot and be able to run Intel XMP without it destabilizing the entire rig. But we aren’t there yet, unfortunately. We are a few short time periods away from having AI overlords, but with this stupid crap I’m sure Intel XMP will thwart their plans for world domination. Not G.Skill’s fault. Their RAM runs great, if you install it correctly per Intel’s specs. SK Hynix DRAM, for those that care. Same stuff as Corsair Vengeance chips, just a fancy heatsink makes Corsair’s more expensive I guess. Buy this RAM! ... show more

  • Decent RAM but note the RGB IS NOT SYNCED!
Size: 64GB (2x32GB) Color: White
Look, the RAM is fine. No complaints for its performance, works great with XMP enabled, no trouble with compatibility or stability. But note that the RGB in these sticks is NOT SYNCED AT ALL! When you turn on your PC, the RGB will start changing from red to blue to green etc. in a rainbow pattern, but one of the sticks cycles faster than the other and they quickly get out of sync. It's a known issue, there is no fix incoming, it's been around forever, and it happens regardless of which category you buy. You have to install extra software to control the lights if you don't want them to be out of sync. Personally it annoys me that I have to be constantly running extra software just for the lights to work properly, but it might not trouble you at all. ... show more

  • Very stable
Size: 64GB (2x32GB) Color: White
I've had a few gskill kits over the years and they have been solid, these are no different. Looks wise the heatsink design and RGB is nice, very well designed and built. The white would look good in a white build and I thought it would contrast nicely in mine......I should have stayed with the black ones to be honest, with white ones the RGB color looks off, kinda muted. The software is basic enough and the sticks are controllable from other software like MSI mystic light, performance wise they hit there rating spot on and by the blessing of the silicone lottery gods my CPU has a decent IMC, but then again 6400M/T is not crazy fast when base cpu memory speed is 5600. ... show more

  • Extremely fast with my Intel i9 12900K
Size: 64GB (2x32GB) Color: Matte black
System i9 12900K processor on an ASrock Z790-C ran incredible benchmarks with the bios enabling XMP. Put it through a stress test for 1 hour with no errors or overheating, so I would say it's stable. This memory was recommended and I'm glad I got it. I attached a screenshot of my performance test.

  • They Work With My New Asus Strix Z690-E and Intel i7-13700k
Size: 32GB (2x16GB) Color: Matte black
After buying another brand of memory DIMMs that were on the QVL for the Asus Strix Z690-E board, I unfortunately found out after that they were qualified only for the Intel i7-12700 CPU (UGH!). After several blue screens (BSOD), I had to demote them from XMP mode to SPD mode (much slower). I then found that these memory DIMMs were qualified for the board and CPU, and thus far, have been working in XMP mode without issue, for a little over 1.5 months. My only gripe is I wish there were some non-RGB modules with the same timings; I like a simple, non-LED computer. But Asus makes it very simple to turn off all of the LEDs, so not big deal. ... show more
