These hexagon panels are cool looking. I like that you can make different shapes with them. As for sound dampening, it does decrease noise but doesn't eliminate sound. Any bit helps in apartments though.

These have been a great addition to my office. It helps keep noise low so I don't disturb others in the house. After getting one package, I ordered five more to completely complete my streaming room. The tiles are very well made, and the adhesive is very good. Installation was super easy. I recommend that you wipe and clean your walls before installing them. After installation, I started noticing less echo in my room, and my video sound improved drastically. Overall, I have no complaints and enjoyed the process of installing these tiles to help with sound control in my YouTube streaming room. Excellent value for the money. ... show more

[ Packaging ] Minimum amount of packaging. (1) set of panel tiles, sealed in plastic [ The Good ] These panels were really fun to peel off the sticker backing, and place onto my wall. I installed these in my entertainment room, where the wall is shared with my neighbor (I live in a duplex). I hope to cut down on the amount of frequencies that are passed through the wall. I prepped the walls by doing a simple wipe down for dust. I did not use any liquids. During the installation process, I used a level for the first tile. Then I worked left to right to install the other tiles, with respect to the first tile. My result was a level “art” piece consisting of these tiles. It is super important to take time, and match the edges well. It also helps to press against the other tile to get a flush look. Once the sticker backing has made contact with the wall, it is very difficult to readjust. So this is one of those things where you have to install it right the first time. I installed these tiles in a fun way, and not in any scientific method in respect to sounds waves/frequencies. [ What Could Be Better ] I don’t have any complaints. [ Takeaway ] These tiles feel pretty decent. I think these are a great way to help control sounds; the only noticeable difference from my perspective is less echo. ... show more
