  • Bought to cover wood outside furniture.
Size: 500 ml
Pleased with the color, consistency. Bottle goes a long way. I did rocking chair, four chairs, finishing up on the table . Bought the smallest size and still have some left. Turned out really nice. Recommend this brand. Went to Home Depot- they only had one brand and came home and ordered this off of Amazon. ... show more

  • Makes the old BBQ look good!
Size: 500 ml
Bought a used offset that needed some cleaning up. After I stripped it down to bare metal I used this on it and heated it up! The smoker now has a beautiful mahogany brown finish and is well-protected! Great product!

  • Worked great on my Axe handles
Size: 500 ml
Used it on some axe handles I made, as well as some various wood projects and hammer rehafts. Works great but when you apply a very heavy amount on tight grained wood it can have a tendency to congeal into a sticky paste if it doesnt soak into the wood fast enough.

  • WARNING! Be knowledgeable about the risk of SPONTANEOUS COMBUSTION with this product!
Size: 250ml
I was completely WOWed by this product when a friend shared with me the before/after photos of the exterior front doors and wooden posts on the front of her home. Already amazed by her results, the low cost of the product and simple process had me convinced this would be just what I needed to get some dusty, white areas off of the interior of my front doors that occurred some time ago while refinishing the exterior side. It usually takes me days to really decide on a product because I spend a LOT of time comparing reviews. When they say “Shoppers find images and videos more helpful than text alone” on the Amazon product review page, they’re talking about me! I’m the shopper! I saw lots of great before/after photos and read a lot of great reviews about this product, so I decided I’d give it a try! After all, it is an Amazon’s Choice item so I can’t go wrong, right?! WRONG!! Allow me to share my experience with you. As the directions stated, I used a clean cloth to ensure the surface was clean prior to application. I used a clean microfiber cloth and applied the Linseed Oil directly to it then wiped the entire surface of the door. After about 20 minutes, I used the same cloth and wiped the door once more. I draped the microfiber towel over the bottle of Linseed Oil and placed it on the counter in my laundry room to reapply in 24 hours. Nine hours later, I am rushing to get dressed to get out the door for work and I ask my 9-year-old son to take the clothes out of the dryer for me. He comes and tells me it smells like something is burning in that area of the house. I run to check things out and when I turned the corner, the smell hit me – it was the Linseed Oil! Whew! False alarm! The smell is strong and is not pleasant AT ALL but I was pleased with my results thus far so that outweighed the smell. I continued to the laundry room to make sure that was in fact what he was smelling. The Linseed Oil was quite overpowering, but I did smell the burning smell he was speaking of. After leaving the laundry room a few different times to get some fresh air, I knew the smell was localized to only that room. As I searched the room, I had a burning sensation in my eyes and they began watering, but I didn’t think much of it at that moment. I didn’t want to jump the gun and call 911 for a “burning smell” in my house so I called my neighbor over for another adult opinion. Before he entered, I warned him of the strong smell of Linseed Oil and explained that we smell something burning and it seems to be isolated to the laundry room. Other than the strong Linseed Oil odor, he didn’t smell anything to raise concern. Still checking anything and everything in there, my eyes began burning and watering like crazy again. After stepping out for fresh air and entering again, he finally agreed, he noticed the burning smell. At that point, I checked and smelled every receptacle in the room and unplugged everything connected. When I noticed the Linseed Oil microfiber cloth sitting on the counter, I decided I’d get it out of there so it wouldn’t be so overpowering and hopefully we’d be able to pinpoint the burning smell. The cloth didn’t come off easily so I gripped it a little firmer and noticed the cloth was hot to the touch and still wouldn’t come off. I ran outside to separate the cloth and bottle and realized the cloth was burning and melting the bottle. At that point, I didn’t know exactly what happened, but for once in my life, I was thankful for daily laundry which led us to the laundry room before I set out for work that day. A lot would’ve happened in that 12-hour window and there’s a great chance I wouldn’t have had doors to reapply Linseed Oil to when I got home that evening. After this incident occurred, I turned to Google for some answers as to why this happened and was surprised to see this is a normal occurrence if caution is not used. I have been able to read MANY stories from customers like me who were performing a simple DIY home improvement task that didn’t end so well because they simply did not know the hazard. I am hoping the attached photo of the charred cloth (the brown areas on the cloth is not oil or stains – it is from the burning process) and melted bottle warns customers to USE CAUTION WITH THIS PRODUCT due to the risk of spontaneous combustion. After doing research, other Linseed Oil Manufacturers on Amazon warn consumers of the risk of spontaneous combustion on the front of the packaging. This bottle simply looks like a furniture polish. Furniture Clinic needs to improve this design and warning label and Amazon should remove it as an "Amazon's Choice" item. I’ve attached a photo of my before/during/after results. The results were great but I encourage you to be knowledgeable about this product prior to using. ... show more

  • Does the job!
Size: 250ml
I bought this to use on a ballet barre I recently installed, and it’s great. It made the wood feel so much better against my hand. It dries fairly quickly and the smell doesn’t linger too long which is nice. Highly recommend.
