* Overall Impression: -It's a good, well made, waist, back, rib and abdomen compression brace with Velcro closure. -However, note that it is not a plain compression brace. It has a hard vertical metal stay on the waist area on each side. They are not removable and not everyone will find this style comfortable. -If you were wanting a plain compression brace, this one is not plain it has rigid side stays that can't be removed. They are hard and may not be comfortable for everyone. * Pros-what I liked and what worked well: -Good value for the quality and style. -Velcro closure, easy to adjust the fit. -Moderately strong compression. -Not just a 3 row elastic band style, but layered smaller rows of elastic compression rows sewn together. -Breathable material. -Elastic adjustable Velcro closure straps. -Hand washable in warm water and air or line dry. I used the size guide and ordered a L, had to return it for a M, smooth exchange, however it’s kind of thin and was hoping it would pull my love handles in, it didn’t! It’s nice quality but wanted something with more support

I ordered this Funcy Women/Men Abdominal Binder to help me keep my stitches from tearing after abdominal surgery. You know how it is…you’re not supposed to move around too much, or lift anything heavy, but life happens. So, rather than duct tape a pillow to my stomach, post-op, I thought this might work well. And it did! It kept me from moving my torso too much, or too quickly. It kept things from bouncing around and pulling on the stitches. I will say that I would’ve liked to have it in one size bigger than the XL (the biggest size they carried). I wear mostly 2X, so I think it was a little tighter than I actually needed, and that I would’ve worn it for longer stretches if they had a size 2X. It still did the trick, though, and it’s very well-made…it never came undone, accidentally. I’m really glad I got it. ... show more

Wow! I like this abdominal binder. Almost instant relief of my sore back after putting this on. This supports both my lower back and my stomach. This functions as a compression belt. It is lightweight and has a 2-layer velcro closure system. I wrapped this around and attached the first layer. It was so nice. I secured the second layer and, oh my, it felt so good on. The compression I feel around my stomach and spine is very effective at relieving my back soreness, which I experience periodically from overexertion. I reach for these types of belts/wraps/binders each time I feel a little sore, and I don't have to take any pain relievers. I don't wear these types of compression belts daily, but it does have to be comfortable on while I go on about my day. This abdominal binder does provide comfort and support. Seems much lighter and slimmer than others I have tried. It is not bulky so would be difficult to be detected under my top, which is ideal to be worn out in public. I've tried many binders and this one is one of the best I've experienced so far. It is light but has great compression. I like to wrap this around me as tightly as possible for best support of my spine and stomach. I'll be throwing this on when going on about my chores. My mom has been wearing this after getting a full hysterectomy. This offers full belly coverage but stiff and needs to break in. After few times of use, it’s a bit better. The outer layer adds a huge bulk too so she needs to wear a really huge pants. I have tried different waist binders before, but this one seems better than the rest. The material is sturdy, doesn't smell bad, easy to put on, secures perfectly, and provides enough stability. I just would not wear this when exercising because it will restrict the proper movement of the back and abdominal muscles, which may cause pain during or afterwards. I tried this on and it has great support and compression. Breathable material and the secondary strap allows for additional tightness if needed. It also has some boning in it which wasn't mentioned in the description but it works for me. Highly recommend after surgery
