I use this karaoke machine for friends party and I can use it to control all sounds, base, high and mid sounds. It’s easy to control, and it has all the usual necessary options. Great, great karaoke effector. After I use it, I feel I am singer. I ever bought a simple mixer before, but, that mixer has big noise. This new effector can reduce the noise. Another reason I bought this one is because this new effector is coming with the digital optical audio connector. The new TV I just bought is only with digital optical audio connector, and the old simple mixer doesn't have this connector. Also, it is coming with bluetooth, and we can go through it and send the song to my old amplifier & speaker. My friends felt this effector take my old home karaoke system up a notch. ... show more

I just tested this today. The quality of craftsmanship looks good and it is easily to operate without reading the instruction. Some labels are a little bit confusion; for example, the tiny screw adjustment knobs should be called "GAIN" instead of "MIC X1/X2 VOL". Music sound and Echo controls are excellence; however, the MIC sound needs to be improved since volume is to low even at the max vol. gain and max vol. level I am using this for karaoke at home. My comment on MIC sound is based on the Sennheiser 945 wire microphone. Using this for other occasions should be fine. I recommend this mixer Updated: 06/06/2022 -This mixer gives much better sound if paired with the affordable Denon AVR-S660H receiver comparing to a high-end old Yamaha receiver - With the same optical cable from an output of a 65 inch Sony TV, only YouTube channel gives sound, the regular TV channel gives a continuous loud beep sound and the Disney + channel has no sound at all. ... show more

This mixer is pretty easy to use for karaoke. We bought separate wireless microphones that work well with this mixer. You can use bluetooth or directly connect an audio source and add the microphone on top of the audio to give the karaoke experience with either a phone or TV.
