It has its limits, but well worth it's cost. Used it on stage about a dozen times now. While not having full control over the parameters of most effects, they've done a good job with the stock settings. The harmonizer works quite well, if you have good pitch (my guitar player couldn't make it sound good ...) Also the chorus and unison settings are useful. Formant button is cool. Ultimately though it's worth it for the compressor, reverb, and the "enhance" button (works kinda like a BBE sonic maximizer). Overall, it is apparent that this will be a useful addition to live performance. First, there are no submenus or complicated screens to rifle through. Everything you need has its own on/off button. If it's illuminated, that means it's on. If it's not, then it's off. It's that simple. Turning the reverb knob to the right increases the effect. Turning it completely left turns the reverb effect off. Easy. The reverb is also very usable, but as a personal preference, it would be "nice" to have more options for reverb. But at this price point, that may be asking for a lot. The good news is, I have no worries about just handing this over to a lead singer and expecting good results. So I bought this so I had a battery powered mobile vocal fx unit I could use to create voices for my cosplay with a battery powered mic&speaker. I think it kinda serves it purpose, but it is not the best... The delay and reverb options are minimal, and if I were going to just use this as a studio of main vocal fx processor I would look into a different one with better/more fx options.     • Adding this device to my setup broke my setup. Unreliable, sounds awful, not worth the money.

I had intended to use this device for both streaming as well as live recording situations where I'd be doing a "live" performance of my music. The first problem I have is that reverb and delay aren't their own switches. They are just dials. So you can't just have reverb/delay on a switch, you have to turn them up and down manually. Then there are the voice effects. They're awful. Unintelligible. Distorted. Additionally, this device doesn't stay turned on. It turns itself off after some amount of time, and has to be turned off and then back on to get it working again. It also made the volume of my microphone sound like it was peaking without having the phantom power enabled or having any effects turned on. After 2 days of trying to get it working in anything resembling a usable fashion, I gave up, boxed it up and returned it. What an absolute waste of time. ... show more
