I bought this to work similarly to the one I have now. It pulls out away from the wall so you can have the TV closer to you. It turns in both directions so you can move furniture around and still have the TV in the same place but watch with no problem. I love ❤️ that you can tilt the screen forward and level it with just a few turns of the leveling bolts. No need to rehang for it to be level. (I learned this the hard way lol). The first picture is of the tilt and leveling bolts. Super easy to assemble and hang. Very sturdy and reliable when mounted in wood stud. I have my grandkids hang on it to test it. Works great the only suggestion I would have is it would be nice if it would have a yaw adjustment. The only way to adjust that is to adjust the screws on the wall
