    Description

    The Q5 PLATINUM is the most powerful Fuji Spray system. This 5-stage turbine motor develops approximately 9 5 psi. The additional power allows the user to apply their finish faster, and with less time spent on preparation of materials. Incorporated into its design, is a proprietary Heat Dissipation Chamber (HDC). The HDC expels excess heat from the turbine, resulting in much cooler operating temperatures. Less heat translates to longer motor life for your turbine. Supplied with the Fuji T-75G non-bleed spray gun with pattern control knob - the fan size is adjustable from small to large, and everything in between (fully incremental). The benefit of non-bleed is that air only passes through the spray gun when the trigger is pulled, resulting in less blowing around of shop dust and less paint buildup on the tip of the fluid nozzle. Obtain a professional finish with all known coatings. The Fuji T-75G is also equipped with 600cc gravity cup. The standard air cap set is the general purpose 3 (1 3mm), for fine finishing with lacquers, enamels, polyurethanes, latex, water-based coatings, and more. Easy to maintain.     If you're looking for high-quality HVLP sprayer that can handle just about anything you want to spray, then look no further! The Fuji Q5 will meet or surpass all your expectations. The turbine casing is well made and heavy duty. The motor is amazingly quiet and muffled down to a comfortable pitch (i.e. nothing annoying like your ShopVac). The hose and connectors are some of the highest quality I've run across... bordering on overkill! The gun itself is really almost too nice to use! Lightweight, well balanced, smooth clean edges and just the right "feel". The user manual is easy to follow, the gun is really easy to adjust and the spray quality is absolutely amazing! It's so good in fact that it allows a novice like myself to produce very high quality work. Super easy cleanup too, ESPECIALLY if you use the 3M PPS system. (If you go this route, you'll need the 16003 Adapter for the T75G gun). ... show more

      • Great quality, great results, easy to use

    Was trying to decide on conventional sprayer or hvlp turbine sprayer and came across the Fuji systems. I decided I liked the ease of using the Fuji since there's no need for an expensive air compressor and then have to worry about filtering water/oil in the air hose. So far I've sprayed lacquer a large countertop, a vanity and some miscellaneous parts. They came out pretty nice. I wish I had a proper spray booth so I could really dial in the gun and see better when I'm spraying (I have to spray outside). Regardless of that, the finish still came out quite nice. I was worried if I would have to spray very slowly (based on a crappy hvlp I used probably 12 years ago) but that was not the case. It puts out a lot of material quickly. I do wish they had a plug for the hose when not in use (I haven't checked, maybe they do) because I worry about bugs getting into the hose since it has such a large opening. I was also surprised to see a lack of a little filter in the cup. All of the guns I've used had a removable filter that fit at the bottom of the cup; I liked that extra bit of security. I saw there was an optional remote and thought that was kind of dumb. However, after doing some spraying, that remote would have been a bit handy. If you're on the fence about hvlp turbine sprayers, I would give the Fuji systems a try, you might be surprised just how well they spray. ... show more

      • This is a quality product well made.

    I bought this for spraying Rustoleum. It will spray it straight out of the can. But if you want a good finish you will definitely need to thin your paint. Depending on your thinning agent percentage may very. However I do about 10%thinner 90%paint. The gun is very nice and easy for me. It fan adjustment works well. Once I learned to feather the trigger. I learned how much control you have over the amount of paint applied. Also this has a great effect on cutting down overspray. In turn this conserves paint. The hose is also high quality rubberish hose. The fan unit is very quiet and powerful. The 3M pps2.0 with the with the pressure cup is a nice addition. Making cleanup much easier, faster, and cheaper if you take cleaning time into account. My time is valuable. As I have used this several times it is a great stand alone unit capable of painting well above my skill level. Each time I use it I improve my painting skills. I am a master fabricator as well as a machinist. I have been working as a Millwright for the last 20 years. I definitely know what quality equipment looks like. This is a quality unit. I would recommend to others. That being said it's expensive and most likely you could get your projects done for a lot less money. Bells and whistles we all love them but can you do with out them $$$. One more thing it fits perfectly maybe a little tight in the bottom rolling Milwaukee packout.       • Turbine spraying chunks of metal after a handful of uses

    I don't normally write reviews but this has been one of my most regrettable purchases. From the get-go, the machine was quite loud, despite the manufacturer's claims of quiet operation. Pretty early on, I also noticed an electrical burning smell. I was also disappointed with the results. I haven't been able to get good atomization with even polys, which suggests bat pressure output. For a 5 stage turbine, this is unacceptable. Several projectgs went by, I've been compensating by doing extra sanding and keeping the flow rates super low. Finally this week was the last straw. I noticed a clinking sound coming from the turbine and then it sounded terrible. Shut everything down and found a bunch of metal chunks fell out of my gun when i disconnected. I've tried a couple times to troubleshoot, hoped the metal chunks would stop coming out, but i think the turbine is ready for the dumpster. Too many ruined projects. ... show more
