I recently purchased this fridge for my daughter’s dorm, and overall, I'm very pleased with it. The design is adorable and fits perfectly in her space. It arrived in great condition, with no scratches or dirt, which was a huge relief. One thing to note: the handles aren’t metal and were a bit tricky to install. I had to be careful during installation, as it felt like I might break them if I wasn’t gentle. But once I figured it out, everything came together nicely. It won’t be small enough to go underneath a desk, but if you had any smaller you wouldn’t be able to really be able to fit anything of purpose inside. Love the separate freezer compartment so it actually works and you can fit items inside. Shipped in original box and no dents which I was worried about from other reviews. Easy to setup. The handles are plastic and I was worried about cracking them as they need to be pushed a bit hard to go into place but they eventually clicked (I pulled them outward and to the right and they eventually clicked). The color is beautiful and my office mates are so jealous they keep commenting about how great it is and wish they had thought of it! ... show more

My fridge just arrived, its so cute and larger than I expected which is nice. It looks great in my garage-turned home gym. There's a small dent on the side which I don't mind. The door handles are impossible to snap into place although it doesn't require screws, even with the instructions. I suggest hitting the left side carefully with a hammer to snap it into place. I ordered this Retro Mini Fridge a couple months back for my daughter to use in her dorm. It has a freezer on top with a separate door from the fridge. Cute little ice trays are also included; mini-sized. The bottom, which is the fridge has a lot of space, including a plastic drawer on the very bottom. The drawer is made of thin plastic and skeptical of how long it will be before it gets cracked just from regular use. The handles on both doors are the same cheap plastic. The handles do not pull up and latch; each handle is stationary. Another area for improvement is where the quality could be improved. The bottle opener that will rarely be used if ever is metal. Oh wait, she is in college, and beer has bottle caps. Ok well, I'm hoping it gets used infrequently. ... show more

It’s adorable and everything I’d hoped for but it is damaged. And it’s the second one that came with this very same damage. The bottom of the sides and the corners are crumpled up like a car looks when it gets rear ended. Packaging fully in tact both times (I returned the first damaged one) but once removed and btw you can’t get it out to look for any damage without destroying the packaging completely….you find the bent edges and corners. The replacement is a little better overall but still damaged. The upside to this is that after I got the first one I called Amazon and asked how to handle it, destroyed box, damage, replacement etc and they arranged for me to received a box it would fit in (no worries on how well I packed it) and were going to send an outside courier to come get it. I got the box, packaged it up but never heard from the courier so I called back to patiently inquire about the pickup. The lovely lady on the other end of the line (cute kids playing noises in the background as I assume she was working from home) not only successfully scheduled a UPS pickup within the next few days but also, and I still find this awfully generous and inexplicable, credited me back the entire cost of the refrigerator. I assured her that wasn’t necessary as a replacement was on the way but she said they can do that in special cases due to my inconvenience. WHAT WHAT WHAT!?!? Sweet. So the moral is, I got a free, albeit slightly marred, but adorable retro mint green mini fridge for my office (I’m a school counselor) and all is well! Also, it gets cold right away. It hums and rattles a tiny bit but her cuteness outweighs her slight annoying sounds. Yep, she’s a girl and her name is Flo! Cheers! ... show more

First the bad. This came to me damaged. The adjustable peg bracket on one corner was smashed in. No biggie since it was on the back side as I was able to grab some tools and straighten it out enough not to be too much of an issue. Also, the temp controller is a fine line between it not being cold enough to being a freezer. 4.5 is the sweet spot for this. There is a silver-ish decal on the bottom that looks odd. Should've had that in the chrome plastic as well and it would've been really cool. I ended up removing it because it didn't look right. The good is that it has no problems at all cooling. Has a nice configuration inside and looks like a cool vintage fridge. I use this for the guest cabin and it is a perfect fit for that. If not for it being damaged and the really off putting decal at the bottom I would give it a 5 star rating. ... show more
