So first off, I bought a Chefman 6 can mini fridge about 2 months back. I currently live in the guest house on a larger property and I have access to a conventional fridge/freezer that is in the garage, but I don't want to have to run out to the garage everytime I want a cold drink especially when it's super hot or pouring rain. I've had zero issues with my little 6 can Chefman, but my boyfriend had expressed interest in getting another mini fridge for his man-cave/art room that is located in a converted RV on the property. So with his birthday coming up in a few days I had been doing some research on getting him a little 6 can fridge as I previously had, and if the fridge I bought wasn't on back order with a delivery date a month past his birthday, I would have got him what I ordered. I'm so happy that I didn't though! I decided to go with the black Frigidaire as I'm familiar with the brand, and the cost was within the amount I wanted to spend ($40 max budget - it cost $36.67 + tax and I did buy the warranty). However I was beyond pleasantly surprised when the package arrived as I seemed to overlook the fact that I was buying a 9 can fridge, not a 6 can model. This posed a small problem for me as his converted art space is rather small so everything I buy I have to measure out to ensure that the item fits in the space. The simple solution was to repack my 6 can fridge, and set up the larger Frigidaire model in my room. Obviously the swap isn't completely altruistic but I know he'll be happy with my 6 can fridge as he expressed wanting the same model, now he'll be getting the exact same model 😅 As for the technical stuff, the Chefman does have a hot or cold switch however I wouldn't ever use it for heating so I don't mind that my fridge only gets cold 😏 Aside from that, both units are nice and quiet, but the Chefman produced way more heat out of its vents so the Frigidaire wins in that category, and the most important aspect is of course how cold the unit gets! Both do a good job of keeping drinks cold but the Frigidaire seems to keep the drinks slightly colder so I'd say the Frigidaire is a superior product. Unless something drastically changes, my rating is absolutely 5/5! I attached a few pictures to show the size, it sits on top of my little pantry that I keep chips and other non perishable foods in. I will also be cleaning it out after realizing the visible mess in the photos. The fridge really is perfect size for my needs. (There is a little 2 inch piece of cardboard wedged underneath the front of the fridge as the door has trouble closing without it - this isn't a design flaw, it's due to the surface I'm keeping it on) ... show more

Purchased this item in July 2023 for my husband so he could store his insulin in our bedroom so that he didn't have to bring the insulin in from the kitchen fridge when he needed to change his insulin pump. Now for those skeptical people out there - yes, we only stored insulin in the unit - it was not overfilled, and the unit was plugged directly into the outlet on the wall. There was no overloading of the circuit from multiple items plugged in all together. My husband is a Type 1 Diabetic and has to change out his pump tubing and a new insulin supply every 3 days. So this little unit was going to make his pump exchanges go a little smoother since he would have all of the supplies closer together. Fast forward 16 months and 11/27/24. THANKFULLY, my husband came home slightly earlier than normal due to the Thanksgiving Holiday, because this little unit caught fire and damaged the bedside table it was standing on as well as the adjacent wall. Unfortunately, some of his medication was lost, but at least coming home earlier saved us from losing our home, personal belongings, and our four-legged fur baby (Our Great Dane was in the house). When reaching out, I found out that Fridgidaire doesn't even supply the support for this product because they foist the responsibility of the warranty/service work out to Curtis International (a Canadian-based company). I would advise that if you are thinking about purchasing this unit or already own one, unplug it and go with something else. This product could cost a lot more than you would expect. ... show more

I like the size and it fit well on the vanity counter. It was enough to hold some skin care and a drink can. The first one when it failed I thought maybe my fault that a washcloth had fallen onto the top and perhaps somehow blocked the exhaust fan. This is the cutest little mini fridge. I love the color and design. It perfect for my office, cannot share the main office fridge because people can't seem to clean up after themselves. But that aside, its definitely gets colder than I would have thought. Glad I purchased this gem.

Honest review here: This little fridge can fit about 4-6 water bottles depending on their size. I can usually cram about 5 in there if I'm absolutely SHOVING them in there. I use several brands of different water bottles so I'd say that's what you're going to run into aswell. Besides the small space, it also takes a VERY long time to cool your drinks, so I wouldn't recommend using this fridge for medication or food, as it will probably get you sick in process. For drinks, it's good, but it takes about 6 hours to totally cool liquids to the point of ice-cold. Though it never makes the drinks you put in it as cold as a real refrigerator, it's pretty close. Overall, it's a cheap little thing, but it does its job and it's not crazy expensive. If you can get a better one, I'd recommend that. But there's absolutely nothing truly wrong with this one besides its cramped little interior and slow cooling which makes food and medication not an option. For drinks, it's good. But again, if you can do better and plan to use this fridge for anything else, steer clear. ... show more
