I wanted bowls that don't speak dog food and water bowls. These do just that and look very stylish and high end! They are heavy too and don't slide around. I like that it has the taller side and caves in as that seems to help create less mess when our dog is gulping water. I didn't buy the bowls for the mat but thought it was a nice bonus, however, the mat is way too small to fit in these two bowls and not create a mess. Great quality and value. Wanted ceramic for my maltese as I heard it helps with keeping their faces white. No stains and we've used for a few months. I love the look of the bowls and my pup has no problem eating/ drinking from them.

I have enclosed a photo so you get an idea of the size of these bowls. The dogs are about 10-12 lbs each. They definitely hold the 1/3 cup they get with each meal and have a nice large opening so they can get their head in there to eat all the bits of kibble.
