The bag is really well made, and a bit larger than I expected. After inflating the top and middle, I filled the bottom about 3/4 full with water and it is very sturdy and resilient.

In my experience, there is no equal substitute for the feel and training benefit of a heavy ceiling mounted swinging bag. But this is a decent 2nd 3rd place option, and the quality of it is fine. It loses air faster outside, but that is to be expected. It can take the hits and keep on keeping on, the vinyl bladders that make up the product are strong and capable. Price wise, at 36$it is fair, for the niche of inflatable punching bags. What is not fair is comparing this to a regular swinging punching bag and claiming it to be superior, they are two different classes of products. Honestly this is made for children and smaller people, my partner for example is 5ft tall and this is just great for her. I am 5’ 11” and have trained with all common types of bags even the commercial grade wavemasters which deliberately try to compete with heavy swinging bags (they do a great job competing btw), and this is not a viable competitor. It should be marketed towards children and young adults, because it is an excellent option for them, but not for competitive athletes or larger adults. Summarily, this is a great product but needs to be realistic about what and who it was built for. ... show more

If you’re into just maybe a cardio workout this would be it. The punching bag came with the necessary air pump and made setting it up much easier. You can fill it with water or sand but water would be the easier option. This is more for a light punching session instead of a heavy pounding because it probably won’t take it too well.
