I bought this to use on my small pond. I have (3) 5 month old ducks that are constantly moving and dirtying their water. Until I set up a bog filter, this drains their pond (slightly bigger and deeper than the plastic 4ft. kiddy pools) in such a quick time. The hose is a bit flimsy and tends to kink easily as well as slip off the nozzle that connects it to the pump easily. This could likely be fixed with tape of some sort. It's a decent pump no complaints about its operation but you can hear the vibration (like a loud bubble pump) even when my aquarium sump is slap full. It stop actually stopped working after the 1st time I used it, but then after it rested for 20mins it started back working. The 2nd time I cleaned my tank out it worked and then stopped working again and has not worked since. I got this to clean my 20gal fish tank did good for removing water, but then stopped working.
