I really like this jacket a lot! The zipper seems pretty durable, so that's always a plus. I do feel like this is an EXACT fit, which bums me out a smidge as these are the types of jackets I like to layer a few layers underneath. There isn't a lot of room for that, so if you plan to do that, you might want to size up. I like the angled pockets which provide the tapered look for a feminine cut. This is going to be a long review because there are so many features with this jacket. Start with the one con: the sizing runs small. I'd size up one size. I ordered my usual XL size and it fits but there's pretty much no room to shrink (washing & drying). Pros: 1. Furry around the hood which is zippered on, so it's removable and manufacturer recommends removing it for washing. Roomy hood also. There are elastic toggles on the hood to keep it from blowing off your head, but they don't seem the most secure. They are tiny and have to be twisted to stay together/ closed. Hood does not have the fleece lining. 2. Inner, THICK zippered, fleece vest. No way will anyone be cold in this jacket. The fleece is very soft. 3. ALL zippers are HEAVY duty and stylish. I had to take a second look at the zippers because I've never seen such big AND cool looking zippers on a jacket before. They zip easily. 4. Inner vest zippers closed, outside shell zippers closed - air tight. 5. There is a high neck on the inner vest so it'll keep anyone's neck warm. It zippers UP TO your chin and not just to the bottom of the neck like most linings do. 6. Sleeves have fleece inner cuffs. 7. Outter shell is made of recycled plastic bottles. The outer shell is also quilted. 8. Inner lining is also nylon which is warm and stays dryer. 9. Can be machine washed (cold) and tumble dried. 10. Decorative and functional elastic bands under the arms that extend from front to back so lifting, stretching and general movement won't rip under the arms...hooray! I've done that quite a few times. 11. Two zippered front pockets that are deep. 12. No inner pockets. I'd prefer to have some but the front pockets are plenty deep. 13. Covers my hips and 1/2 of my butt so it's a good length. I'm 5'4". Overall this is an excellent, stylish jacket for a great price. I've spent double the cost years ago for a way lower quality coat/ jacket. Definitely recommend! ... show more
