Ac compressor definitely was not checked or run before they shipped it out. There was no clearance between the clutch & the pulley, causing the clutch & pulley to grind together constantly. I’m waiting for the $80 tool I had to order to fix what they overlooked before it got shipped. It’s like I’m paying to do more work then I need to do. Doesn’t make sense does it? Worked great once installed and charged until I had my vehicle inspected now it doesn’t cut on at all

Installed this compressor, worked for 2 days now the clutch is slipping. Do not waste your money on this “new” compressor. Terrible quality control. If you do buy it, get it from Autozone so you can at least just bring it back to them for replacement.

I've been using this for about 3 years. But after about a year it has started slightly grinding when clutch kicks on. Still works great so haven't changed it.
