We have an older model club car golf cart we purchased used. It came with a temporary charger not meant for all the time use (we had no idea) until we went to a company that sells parts and he told us. We had thought it was the batteries. So I did a search and saw this charger. I loved the fact that it wasn't big and bulky and easy enough to store in our RV in the under-storage compartment. It was easy to use and when it was fully charged the fan shuts off. I love that on the side it's color-coded to show where it's at during the charging yellow was flashing letting me know it was a little more than halfway charged until it was done. I've been using this for about a month and it's working great on my Yamaha cart. I like the small size, quiet operation and the long cord. Purchased this charger to replace the original large and heavy original charger for my 36V Club Car DS. This charger is half the size and a fraction of the weight. Makes it supper simple for my wife to plug the cart in instead to moving the old heavy one. This one also recharges to a full charge in a fraction of the time. **Update** Fan stopped working on the charger, I sent them a message and a quick video of the issue I was having. The next day they expedited me a new charger. Talk about a fantastic company that stands behind their product. Bought this charger for my 1996 club car . Works great, very happy with this choice. The golf cart was stored in the garage with batteries disconnected. Once all put together the batteries were charged within 10 minutes. There were so many chargers to pick from with price variations. The reviews say it all!! Bought this golf cart battery charger for our older Club Car DS. Had a couple of questions first and the Forme service was excellent! Ron returned our call promptly and then made a follow-up call after! We’ve charged our cart a few times with it now, with no issues. I love that it’s lightweight vs our old charger. The only thing that I could recommend is that a carry handle/cord wrap could be added. Then it would be perfect! ... show more

I picked up this charger because my buddy wanted his high-end one back. His heavy box charger never really seemed to fully charge my g cart batteries. This charger takes the cake “hands down”. It is light, sturdy and well-built. The process for charging is simple. No bouncing meters or multiple fluctuating lights. Once it is plugged in, it “thinks” while cycling through the batteries while the unit ventilates with the quiet top fan. After a few minutes a single red, yellow or green led light will pause and display the charge status. My 93’ EZ Go 36v driven cart will fully charge in roughly on hour or more.
