Great support pillow Improved sleep quality, this was bought as a gift. The person has back issues and cannot lay flat on their back. This helped immensely, before this pillow they would wake up constantly and have to reposition and stuff pillows under their knees. This product helped keep them asleep and in a comfortable position that did not hurt them. On the side it has pockets for remotes (tv, heading pads estim ect.) Material is great . I bought this for a hop replacement. It works well for about a half hour, then the operated leg starts to ache. That's OK since that is the upper limit of the time for the "exercise.: Others might it have the issue. I have also used it as a head, neck and torso support. Very well made! I like the side pocket to slip my phone into while I read! It is a little firm for my personal taste (when sleeping), but my personal preferences shouldn't affect the quality of the product. If you like a Firm feel, this is a good buy!

    • HUGE!!
I've had a wedge pillow for some time now. It was time to replace my old one. I got this, not sure if there were two sizes (the page shows two diff prices but no details on the higher priced item), but I got the lower priced item (the smaller item?). This thing is HUGE! The images show a woman sitting up and reading with the pillow upright and falling below her head. NOT! This thing extends about 6-10 inches above my head. I couldn't get my head above it if I tried. I wanted a 12" base. That's about what my old one was. But because it was shorter, there was more of an angle, perfect! This one is so d long/tall, that there is hardly any angle to it when I am sitting up, rendering it useless. When lying down, with the pillow "flat" (thicker part at top of bed with LONG angled part under my body) it is just about impossible to lay on. I tried and tried to get my head towards the top, but my body is on the pillow and my head is about a foot from the top (thick part). So I'm almost falling off my bed feet first. The angle is very subtle, which is ok when I'm sleeping (and not using it for my back, like when reading), except for only being able to use the bottom foot or less and this thing taking up half my bed. I wish it was at least 6" shorter. I probably need two of wedges, one for sitting up and one for sleeping, but this particular one suits neither. And I paid almost $50 for this! :'( I also saw a review where some guy was lying on it and said that he sunk into it (a good thing he says, and I agree), this one has no "give" whatsoever. It is as stiff as a board. I am 5'7 and weight in the high 100s, for your reference. And yes, there IS a layer of memory foam on top of the regular foam - which I don't like because memory foam is hard. I ended up cutting off 6" of this and it is better, but still, out of the box, it is huge. ... show more

    • In Just 10 Seconds, Wow!
"In Just 10 Seconds, Wow"... My "Forias 12" Wedge Pillow" went from vacuum compressed to FULL SIZE in just 10 Seconds! I was delighted, since so many reviewers of the various "Wedge Pillows" on Amazon complained that their's didn't "re-inflate" to the correct size in days or even weeks. Mine arrived fully wrapped, cylinder shape, a bit smaller than a rolled sleeping bag. 1st: I removed the clear tape covering both ends of the "cylinder shape." This revealed that the "cylinder shape" was a clear plastic "tube" with the Wedge Pillow inside of it. 2nd: I cut the edge of the of that "tube" and began to pull both sides to continue tearing the tube. That released the Wedge Pillow, which was in the 2nd, and last plastic bag, the "vacuum bag." This bag "contained" the factory vacuum that kept the Wedge Pillow compressed into a very small volume. This "vacuum bag" was much larger & longer than the Wedge Pillow, more than a foot at one end. (Note: This is a convenience for we end users trying to open the wrapping without damaging the Wedge Pillow inside.) I could easily see where the heat sealing of the bag was done, a finger wide line near each end. 3rd: I made a small cut in the vacuum bag, inside of that "finger wide line." To my surprise the Wedge Pillow completely inflated in just 10 seconds, with an encouragingly healthy woosh sound. I cut away the vacuum bag to take the Wedge Pillow out, it was great, 100%. It's size is great for me, I'm 5' 8", and I fit well on it with a conventional pillow. There was very little "smell" with mine; that "smell" was gone in about a day. ... show more
