I bought this set because I was having shoulder surgery. I like the fact that you can configure the pillows to fit your needs. They are made well and should last. The material covering the wedges are soft to the touch. The white part of the covering helps the pillow from slipping when places together. I love the partial round neck support pillow and have been using this piece the most for lower back support and neck. Prior to my surgery these felt like this set would be perfect. There 2 aspects of this item I need to mention. The first is that the pillows are very firm and I found them painful to sleep on. They are fine though for using to sit for shorter periods of time. The second thing is that it would have been nice if there was a Velcro adjustable attachment for the pillow that goes under the legs to attach to the backrest. If using for a substantial time, it slips so your body lowers and puts you in an uncomfortable position. I still give this product 4 stars it’s quality and versatility. Unfortunately for my situation a recliner was the better option. ... show more

Ladies, If you are having any sort of breast surgery (mastectomy, reduction, lumpectomy, etc) this is a MUST HAVE for your recovery. Just buy it. I knew I was going to have to sleep on my back and remain elevated for several weeks after a major surgery: this wedge cushion set has been a total game changer. I have used it in several configurations and as a side sleeper, I thought being on my back would be a hard adjustment. Not at all. I used these on the sofa and it kept me perfectly comfortable and positioned correctly for 5-8 hours at a time so I got the sleep and rest I so badly needed to heal. I'll use it in our regular bed when I finish having to sleep on the sofa. When I finish with these, my husband has already called dibs so he can use them for lounging while playing video games or watching TV.
