The media could not be loaded. I read some of the poor reviews this had but I bought it anyways because of the price difference compared to the manufacturer. The 7 Fin blade on Amazon is about $15.00 with free shipping, The manufacturer wants almost $40.00 with shipping. I’ve had this Ninja for at least two years but it wasn’t until recently I started using it twice a day when I discovered what a Smoothie is. Where have smoothies been all my life. . Straw berries, bananas, frozen yogurt and orange juice all blended together. So easy. As you can tell in the video, about wore my blender and the blade out. It makes so much more noise now, I have to keep it in the laundry room away from the other rooms in the house. I might have to move it in my garage. This blade came with a gasket so I tried to use it but the blade will not fit over my cup, so I didn’t use it. I was expecting it to leak, but it didn’t. It works great. I guess I’ll see as time goes by. So far, I can’t complain, it does what it’s suppose to with no leaks. I couldn’t be happier. As for cleaning, I just run hot water over the blade after each use. The other blade I washed and black grease started leaking out from under the fins, now it’s noisy and kinda loose. ... show more

    • Will not buy again, lasted for about 15 smoothies
Thought I would try an Amazon replacement part since Ninja didn’t have the real replacement blades in stock. This lasted me a shockingly short amount of time. Immediately I started to see small cracks in the plastic after a couple of smoothies. Then the bearing/blade started to get louder and louder each day, to like jet engine levels of noise. I couldn’t stand next to the blender without earplugs - seriously it was that bad. On the last smoothie I made there was some dark brown oil that came out of the blade assembly and went into the smoothie. That was the final straw since I had no idea how much of that had leaked into previous smoothies…gross. I make smoothies pretty much every day for lunch, so this only lasted me a few weeks.     • A good fit, but cracked after 4 months
My original name brand part lasted about 4 years. I got this replacement part and was pretty happy with how it fit. However, after 4 months it cracked when using the blender cup to full capacity.
