I have come to prefer folded space foam to wooden organizers since I don't have to deal with splinters and sanding. It's lighter and softer to hold.

I should have paid extra for the better quality inserts. The foam pieces don't stay together even after gluing and taping the bottoms. Pretty chintzy. No matter what configuration I use, they don't fit neatly in the box like I had hoped.

This is an essential item. Gloomhaven has hundreds of pieces and the game box offers very little organization. This insert is a lifesaver. A couple tips: 1. Buy and use glue - read the reviews for suggestions - or wrap each box with tape for sturdiness. 2. I looked up online pictures of how to stack everything into the box using the organizer. That was really helpful. Google the product name. 3. Follow the advice of another reviewer here who suggests putting together one of the two boxes (they’re always in pairs, then glue together the second one before disassembling the first one to glue it. ... show more

I can't imagine playing Gloomhaven with out this! There are other options out there for organizing these pieces, but for this price, it can't be beat. I also recommend using glue. It took awhile to put them all together, but the sturdiness of it is worth it. Setting up for each scenario was faster because of it, which allowed us to have more time actually playing. This worked well and I really liked it and everything fit perfectly. It was a little hard to put everything together but it works out great.

    • Good, but after it’s build it’s hard to know how to use it.
The organizer works well, a more detailed video of it in action would be great and is not out there. I watched the video the manufacturer put out and it was not detailed enough. We used super glue to put it together and that worked just fine.

    • Hard to keep together
Great for organizing pieces. Easy to assemble but the parts don’t stay together. We use duct tape but it doesn’t stick well. Tried super glue which did not stick to the material.

    • Necessary for the game!
Perfect for the box and necessary to play the game easily. Without the inserts, the game takes much longer than it usually does. Great quality too!
