Great for catching crab off of Piers. The fold down function is excellent especially if you use this on a kayak. Pretty lightweight, it needs some weights added to really keep it on the bottom. The mesh is lightweight, and needs to be handled with care to make it last. Be careful with how you attach the bait, plastic zip ties would probably be best. Delivery was supposed to be on a Thursday item was never shipped. Supposedly amazon reshipped item and it was Finally received sat evening around 8pm . Product quality not great and bag ripped when putting net back inside. Definitely Disappointed with shipping and quality.

    • Perfect for Dam or Overpass fishing
This net is really big, and the netting has a silicone type covering over the netting with is good for the fish. I really suck at folding these types of things, as I have a couple pop up tents that I use for photography that fold the same way, so if you are not good at folding these circle types, you'll get frustrated like I do, BUT, That shouldn't discourage you from getting this net. When it is folded, it will fit perfectly into the carrying bag it comes with or more ideally any type of gym drawstring bag. When I'm not fly fishing and in the water/on the shore, I often hit up a lot of dams or overpasses to musky/pike fish, so a bigger net is mandatory. This will allow me not to have to walk and let drag out, or wait for a buddy to go grab the net. This is perfect to drop straight down, and if you're a Musky/Pike fisherman, this net will be plenty big enough for your catch with the 40" diameter! ... show more
