They are sheer so don't provide a total privacy but do add softness to the room. I also have a white cellular honeycomb shade behind them for privacy. They have a light, airy feeling and have the appearance of linen (I think they are 10%). Have gotten lots of compliments and people asking where I bought them. Absolutely beautiful curtains!!! They are prettier than I even imagined! They are sheer so if you want something thicker I wouldn’t recommend these but if you want something that just makes your room brighter and springy, these are the perfect curtains!!
