Great bench for the price and amount of weight it can hold. Built solid with thick metal. The size is larger than expected so make sure you read measurements. The box was quite heavy to bring in. It was packed well with that white crumbly foam. So there will be a mess to clean up. The instructions were clear. All the parts were there. It even came with the tools needed to assemble it. If I had to pick a downside it would be the comfort. The seat itself is pretty dense. Overall I think it was definitely worth it! ... show more

    • Very nice bench, especially for the price
Bought this after doing a bunch of research and reading tons of bench reviews. Was initially considering a cheaper, lower quality bench, but upgraded to this and am very glad I did. It is sturdy and stable, and I'm a 6'4" guy who weighs 250lb. I'm not young, so I'm only lifting 150-lb max at the moment. But that is still 400-lb, and the bench seems absolutely fine with that. The long section of the bench is solidly supported underneath with two full-length metal beams. This was something I was concerned about because it is essentially cantilevered and not supported on the end. Not an issue. Fabric is an upgrade over the cheaper models, and heavy and well stitched. Finish looks like a crinkle powder coat, and seems industrial. Has two small wheels for lift and moving it around. Works fine, and my wife moves it out of the way to do stretching with no problem. It would be nice if the wheels were larger, like roller-blade wheels, for instance. But this works fine enough as is. Simple to adjust. Stout and solid. Seems very durable. Has adjustable feet for leveling, but I've never used them because it is level as is. I got a discount "coupon" offered when I went to buy it, and saved $40. Made it well worth it, and I'm fully satisfied. ... show more

I'm a bit of a skeptic, so even after reading all the positive reviews I still had reservations about buying a bench at such a low price point. Holy cow! I am impressed. I've been lifting weights and working out for almost 40 years, and I've been lucky enough to have access to some of the best equipped gyms in the world, so I've seen my share of really nice equipment. This bench is such a good value. It took about 10 minutes to assemble, and it's really well built. The pieces fit together nicely, and It's solid as a rock. It's comfortable, and adjusts to any angle a person could possibly need for various lifting exercises. I have my doubts about the durability of the upholstery covering. It's very soft and seems too thin for a weight bench (thus the 4 star instead of 5 star rating), but it's smooth, comfortable and easy to clean. I truly think this bench is worth a LOT more than what I paid for it. I've had this bench for a few months now, and there's one thing it's missing. There are no foot pad/posts to anchor your feet. If the bench is placed in the decline position there's nothing to "hook" your ankles around to prevent your body from sliding down the decline. This makes it fairly difficult to perform a decline bench press, or do decline sit ups. ... show more
