This rack replaces a previous rack that did not fit into my home gym after my basement was finished. While this rack has a much simpler design than my previous one, it has everything that I need and takes up much less space. I was impressed with the build quality. I've seen other cheap weight equipment with rough or ugly welds, sharp edges and holes that don't quite line up. But this rack seems really well made. It also seems very sturdy. With weight loaded onto an olympic bar, I don't feel any wobble in the rack. I also had my 175lb son hang from the pull up bar and did not notice any sway. I like the rubber bumper pads on the weight hooks. I like the safety bars. I like the landmine attachment which should help with some of the lifts that I was doing with a pulley system on my old rack. The only thing that I was a bit disappointed with about this rack was that the plate holder is only an inch in diameter and doesn't naturally hold olympic size plates. I may try to find a different attachment or just leave these off. Assembly was reasonably simple and took me about an hour. It took nearly as much time to unpack all of the parts from the box as it did to actually assemble. I did make the mistake of adjusting too wide for my bars and had to adjust the rack narrower after it was assembled. Fortunately, this wasn't too difficult to do with the help of a second person to stabilize the rack while I pushed. ... show more

It took me a while to assemble, but it is decently sturdy and stable. The construction seems to be heavy duty and the powder coating is nice and even. I had a few issues attaching the lower verticals to the base frames. The lower verticals weren't interchangeable; only one worked per side. I would suggest anyone assembling this to not fully tighten the bolts until after the frame is mostly assembled. I appreciate the addition of a pull-up bar but I am a bit leery of using it as it might tip over the frame if I do swing pull-ups. Overall, it works well for the limited space in my garage and the 800lb weight limit is more than enough for intermediate lifters like me. ... show more

This power rack is really well made. It comes in many parts, but with very good instructions and the assembly was painless and relatively quick. It looks and feels super sturdy. The design is balanced and I would not worry about using it with heavy equipment. The value for the price is also very good. I've seen a lot of home gym equipment. Most of them are pretty similar quality at this price range, but I think this one excels. Everything fits tightly together and feels very sturdy. The hardware is nice. It's a nice piece. It's super easy to change the width. The pull-up bar is pretty thick, and the foam is nice. It's better quality than I was expecting. The safety bars being padded is an added bonus, as is the landmine attachment, though you can just get a rubber landmine to go on the end of a barbell and use it wherever you want. It's sturdy enough to do pullups on even without weight on it, but only for strict. If you want to swing, you need to put some weight on it. It would have been nice to include a sleeve for the weight holders for Olympic sizes. ... show more

This is made from quality steel and is perfect for any home gym. Once assembled it is very sturdy and has a weight limit of 800 pounds. Which is more than enough for my home gym. I like that it doesn’t have a big footprint, as that allows me to add in some other home gym equipment in my small space. You can get in a lot of upper and lower body workouts using this stand, and the heights are adjustable so you can make it all work for you.
