  • They work!
These work amazingly well. Trapped thousands of flies. Starts to get a little rancid smelling but that’s ok, because it’s working.

  • They collect hundreds of flies
They are not the prettiest traps, but they have collected hundreds of flies from our backyard. We’re already on our second supply of bags. They last about three weeks before they’re full on our property. They work.

  • These bags work awesome (unless they leak)
They were super easy to use. They trap an insane number of flies! If there is a pin hole in the bag, it's hard to know until it begins leaking the smelly concoction onto the ground. If they leak they don't so much trap flies as they attract them to the puddle below. I was disappointed to have to discard one that did this. ... show more

  • Effective but hold your breath
I had a huge problem with flies on my property. I bought these at the beginning of the summer so I could actually be outside. They’re highly effective and made it so I could go outside without being swarmed but they smell horrendous. They’re fine for a few days then it smells like something died and while it collects a ton of flies, the smell is too strong to be coming from just them. Hanging them up is really easy but you need to be extremely careful taking them down. They don’t close so it’s easy for the liquid to spill and you’ll never get the smell out. They leaked in my trash can so now that needs to be replaced. I’ll continue using these because I stocked up before realizing the pros don’t outweigh the cons but I’ll search for another brand after that. ... show more

  • Very Handy Fly Trap
I have been buying these traps for years and I will continue to buy them. These traps are very effective at catching flies. I have two horses and four chickens. I hang a trap next to each of their enclosures. The traps are easy to use and step up. The ties provided are very durable and you can hang the bag with them. The ties do hold yo as well. I have never had a trap fall. The smell does get strong after a while. I double bag the traps and dispose of them the night before the trash goes out. I have had them make a trash can smell really bad before. Even though there is a strong smell, these traps are worth it and I will continue buying them. The price of the traps are very reasonable as well. ... show more

  • Awesome! Just be careful
This bag does what it says! The bag was filled from the red line to the end of my finger tip within 4 days. When i received the bags i filled one up and hung it high in the back yard. Then i took a second one, filled it and before i was able to hang it the zip tie came loose and the bag fell on the garage floor. Thankfully it didn’t smell too terrible and i was able to rinse it out with a hose. Maybe i should have hung it up first and then filled it like the instructions stated. After a few hours the bag started to collect flies. Within the next few days the bag was the place to be for all the flies! What a hotspot! It completely helped with the fly issue in the backyard and did not smell bad but i think it’s because i hung it high. I was worried that the bag was going to fall and all the flies and liquid would be in the backyard but thankfully it didn’t. In order to take the bag down, i put some gloves on and i placed a plastic bag around the fly bag (it case it would break) and i took it down. Pushed the lid down and tied the bag securely so that nothing would come out if it spilled. I placed it upright in the trash bin and put the trash out the same day. As i got closer to the bag, the smell was truly terrible fyi. I will definitely be using the other two bags but i will try to secure the bag with something else so i don’t have to worry about it spilling. ... show more

  • what a gross mess
I put these up about a month ago and have had two fall out of the trees already. The twist tie isn't put on there secure enough to hold the bag if there's any kind of wind. The plastic the bag is made up is flimsy, so not only does it fall out of the tree, but it bursts open and STINKS to high heaven. The stench soaks into the ground and lingers. I've bought other brands that have held up all summer, though the winter and are still doing the job a year later, I'll be going back to buying those and put this brand on my do not buy list. They DO catch flies, which is why I gave them 2 stars, but I'd prefer to not have to deal with a dead rotting fly pile the minute my tree branch shakes. ***edited to add, I was reimbursed by the company for the bags. So I added another star for their ethics. Some advice, these would probably be fine if you don't use the wire ties they provide. The other two I tied up with binder twine and they're still hanging in there. ... show more
