I just built this and it didn't take too long to build alone. Maybe 45 min. Instructions were easy to follow and understand. I'm currently laying in it typing my review and I am worried the gentle rocking I am causing will lull me to sleep. I will update as time goes by. A few things to note: 1) the cushion is made of rough material but a blanket and some pillows will do the trick. 2) the cup holders are a bit flimsy so a sealed cup is highly recommended 3) use the leverage tool in the beginning when trying to insert the 'small' screws. I somehow did it without the tool on all 4 and wanted to high five my face after I realized I could have made it much simpler for myself. ... show more

This thing is great. I’ve napped on it, read in it, watched fireworks from it, and much more. It was fairly easy to build I did it myself pretty quickly. I regretted it at first cause of the price tag, but this is one purchase I would not take back. The cover like to try to fly away due to high winds, but other than that it’s great. I would recommend covering it if you have lots of sun exposure because it can fade the seat fabric. ... show more

I got this for outside to hand around our fire ring and I love it! I was nervous because it said the color was sand and my theme was more grays and blacks, but its actually more gray imo, so it worked out perfect!!

This chair is great. It’s very sturdy and looks amazing. Most important, it’s extremely comfortable. The one minor flaw is the cushion. The cushion itself is not very thick, and it slides down a lot. Could easily fix this by just having some sort of strap on the cushion that attaches to the frame. If they just fix that minor flaw, it would be perfect. ... show more

    • Comfy, but don't get the elastic mesh weave.

(this would have 5 stars if I got something other than the mesh weave) First off this is pretty dang comfy and relaxing. My wife loves it, it was a birthday present. Second, I got the mesh weave instead of the full fabric because frankly it was the cheapest one in the list and I'm squeezing pennies. (If you're going this route, check all the options before checking out as the prices apparently change.) You won't have this problem if you keep it indoors, but the problem with the mesh weave is that it's thin elastic. After living in Texas & Florida for years I've seen how this kind of elastic essentially dry rots in the sun over a few seasons; if you're in a harsh sunlit environment, that elastic is going to crack, break, and you'll end up falling right through unless you stay on top of covering it every day with the included cover. The second problem with the mesh is that there's really no comfortable way to rest your head unless you lean it on one of the poles, but to say that's comfortable would likely be accurate only for shorter people (under 5ft). Try resting your head on the mesh & it just let's your head pass right through... We added a couple throw pillows to alleviate this problem, but sometimes it takes a while to find that "just right" comfy way to lounge. The last mesh issue, as you move around and try to get comfortable, you can push the base pillow through the mesh too. This is more of an annoyance than anything, but still worth noting. One last thing to note, this is a fairly big chair once it's assembled. If you're going to lounge out on it, you are going to want your head by the side of the support bar so it steers you away from it instead of into it. For us, this way it blocks part of the sightline into the kitchen. Not a big deal, but not something I had thought about. Overall it's a really nice chair. I'm just listing things I wish I knew before I got the mesh weave one. ... show more

Hubby bought this for my birthday and it’s the best gift ever, I love love love it! It was quick and easy to assemble and it looks great in my backyard. Can’t speak to how it holds up, but there’s a nice cover that comes with it. Recommend!

I purchased this for my wife's birthday. She had always wanted something like this and I decided to (finally) purchase one. Allow me to provide a detailed review. DELIVERY: Perfect! No issues. You know how sometimes the (heavy) thing you purchase can be partially or wholly ruined by poor packaging? Not in this case! No issues here! UNPACKING: Again, no issues. Everything was readily identified. CONSTRUCTION: I read and followed the instructions and the entire process took maybe 30 minutes. The only "difficult" part was hanging the actual basket from the frame as it's a little on the heavy side and getting the nylon strap in the correct spot required some repositioning. Overall, not too hard. QUALITY: The fame is excellent and likely will outlast the chair. No issues with it not supporting the chair...NONE. The chair is also made well and the fabric sides of the chair allow just enough air / light into the interior to make it comfortable. The oversized pillow is...well...OK for the task. We added a couple of small pillows from another lounge chair and it's great! There are two cup holders (pouches really)...if you are using a can, these work well...using a glass...well, you might want to use a stemless glass. COMFORT: Great for one person...two people...it's a little crowded but cozy. COVER: The purchase comes with a nylon cover for the chair. It works well (for now) but likely will not last more than a year. Nice to have this included however. Overall, the only "issue" I can foresee is the main nylon straps that connects the chair to the frame. Given time, I expect that these will age and fray. I've already thought of a way to replace these with either another nylon strap or perhaps chain. ... show more
