    • Have a cat with asthma? This might work.
I don't have any affliction that would call for this product, however, my cat does. She has bronchial asthma, which my vet believes is environmentally-caused. For the past two years, my cat has been given depo-medrol shots for her condition; shots that I've been told would likely lead to diabetes and ultimately, heart failure. It seems my cat's only options were to stop breathing entirely or die of heart failure from treatment. Pretty grim. To be clear, I've brought this cat to four different vets seeking alternative treatment methods (not including late night trips to the emergency clinic when she'd have brutal asthma attacks) and they all seem to agree on her initial diagnosis of asthma and the treatment of depo-medrol. Recently, her latest vet suggested that I try this product in lieu of the depo-medrol shot as it's a much less severe steroid. I'm pleasantly surprised to say this actually works. THIS ACTUALLY WORKS! At first, I would make efforts to be sure the spray landed precisely in her nose but it's become second nature to me now. I just hold the scruff of her neck with one hand and spray near her nose with the other. It works just as well as immobilizing her completely, especially since she seems to have learned it helps her condition and she doesn't struggle as much. NOTE: results are not immediate. It takes 20-30 minutes for my cat's breathing to return to normal. Relief lasts anywhere from 6-24 hours. I've only had to use this unit once since I bought it last month. Albuterol sulfate couldn't do for my cat what this product does: provide long-term relief from feline asthma. UPDATE 02/16/18: It's been 13 months since my cat's last depo-medrol shot. Before Flonase, she required a shot every six to eight months. The Flonase has been needed about six times in the past six months and it has never failed to clear up her attacks. UPDATE 05/27/20: I woke up early this morning to find my cat having a full-blown asthmatic episode. Twenty minutes after a spray of Flonase Sensimist to her face, her breathing returned to normal, as though the event never happened. So this will be my last update on this because I believe I've made my point. I just wanted to chime in one more time to express my gratitude for this product. If not for that one squirt of Flonase, I would have been frantically driving my traumatized cat to the emergency vet at 4am, resulting in horror, stress and vet fees well into the hundreds. ... show more

I liked most that it worked perfectly for me. This particular form of Flonase is not offered by my health insurance so I have been getting a less expensive form of Flonase. No more. I will order Sensimist form of Flonase.

    • So much better than the regular one
Flonase Sensimist is SO much better than regular Flonase. You can’t even tell anything sprayed out because it is a light mist. No dripping down the back of your throat or getting it in the wrong location. It’s the only one I’ll use!

My toddler was dealing with allergies and naturally as a mom I tried it first so I know what she may experience. I was pleasantly surprised at how gentle the mist is! I barely even felt it. Anywho this is great for toddlers to use as well as adults!

    • Saved my life
I use to have the worst allergies ever. I felt like I had the flu sometimes I’d sneeze so much and so hard my whole body hurt. One time for about 8 months my right nostril was completely blocked and I researched online and thought I had a deviated septum and would have to have surgery. It was miserable. I read that the surgery was bad and I really didn’t want to go to the doctor. My dad told me to take this and I told him I hate nasal sprays because they taste terrible when they go in the back of my throat. He assured me me I wouldn’t taste it and he was right! Within the first week of taking it, my right nostril unplugged and I could finally breathe! I barely ever have allergies anymore. Every now and then I’ll sneeze here or there but since I’ve been taking this for a few years now, I don’t get them bad where it’s debilitating like it use to at least once or twice a week in the spring. I would have to miss work or leave work early. No more! It says not to take it more than 2 or 3 months but when I stopped I had allergies so I started taking it again.     • This Product has Saved Me!!
UPDATE April 2020 and so sorry to speak badly of Amazon because they have had a lot of things in stock I couldn't find anywhere else, but they've dropped the ball on this one. This particular type of Flonase has been super difficult to find in stock on here. What is available shows prices that are now double and for less ounces of product. I don't know about everyone else, but I'm limited to what I can spend and I need this stuff. My local BJs store has you beat Amazon, both on quantity and price. I got a 3 pack of this Sensimist, each bottle with 120 sprays for $43. That comes out to about $14 each. I'm letting people know that Amazon is allowing exorbitant prices to be charged for this item. THAT SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED!!! Good way to lose business and this needs to be stopped immediately!!! Shame on you guys!!! ENT doctor tested me January 2019 and determined I have severe allergies, all of them seasonal and environmental. He recommended that I use this spray everyday along with a daily dose of Claritin. I used this until last October, then I stopped, thinking the seasonal allergies were over and I would be ok until next spring's pollen season. Big mistake! I started having bad sinus problems again right after I stopped using this. I'd wake up in the middle of the night not being able to breath at all and the days weren't much better. The congestion then kicked my headaches into high gear. I ordered this right away and within a week everything has improved. I wake up in the morning rested with no congestion. My headaches have greatly improved as well in that the allergens have less of an ability to trigger them. I can tell if I've forgotten to use this during the day, so I rush to use it the second I remember. My only complaint is that it kills my sense of smell by about 75%, but I can live with that. The congestion and the severe headaches are a far worse problem. Also, continued use of nasal sprays like Afrin can damage your throat over time and are highly addictive. This product doesn't run down the back of your throat like those do and this is only needed once a day. Recommend if you have a severe sensitivity to allergens!!! ... show more
