This product is excellent! It vacuums and mops my floors at the same time and gets them very clean. I ran it on my just-mopped floors when it first arrived to see what it would do, and it sucked up so much dirty cleaning solution! It works great on tile and wood. I would not use it to vacuum very large pieces. You might need to get out a hand broom for that. But it does great with any regular dirt and crumbs that would be on the floor. I have not tried it on my area rugs, but given that it deposits debris on the edge when I vacuum around them, I’m guessing the brush would need to be rinsed before switching from hard floors to rugs. The parts do need to be rinsed when you are done using it. It takes about 2 minutes and is pretty easy to do. They then have to air dry for 24 hours. It is definitely worth the time to clean the machine given how much time is saved not having to vacuum and mop separately. ... show more

We have lucrative vinyl wood plank flooring, it’s also grooved which makes a challenge for my shark vacuum to get at all of it. This does the job and saves me time with mopping!! Only complaint is it is not edge to edge, so I’ll do my corners and along the walls myself then use this. We also have 2 dogs who shed…. ALOT! I will use my shark to get the bulk of the hair and debris up before using this. Overall I love it! ... show more

    • More of a pain than it's worth.
The concept is great, but in real life, this is more work than it's worth. Cleaning it is not easy peasy and I did not like the streaks it left on my floor. Swifter is much easier to use and works better, in my opinion. I gave this unit to my sister, who has a daycare. She was not thrilled with the performance of it either. ... show more

    • I thought my floors were clean
This product proved me very wrong. I wanted something better than using a broom and then a swiffer type device. I got one of these. Apparently my floors were disgusting judging by the amount of filth this thing picked up. I am very happy with this Bissell Crosswave and highly recommend it.
