  • This 1050W PSU works great!
This PSU is by far the most inexpensive 1050W semi-modular ATX on the market. It works fine. It makes no sense to buy from another manufacturer for twice as much, unless you have a mission critical computer for finance or healthcare. This PSU has not failed me in the year since I bought it. I bought two of these for my two rigs. The 1050W is more than enough to run any GPU, any desktop CPU, high performance water pump, 17 120mm fans with 5V addressable RGB lights running at max speed [push/pull configuration for three radiators], as well as 10 additional LED's from other components. If you don't like the LED, you can easily install it so that the light faces the floor. I do this in my build due to my custom water loop. I have spilled water cooling fluid on this PSU and it still has not failed. You can save money using cheaper cases, fans, water cooling components, and PSU. That way you can spend more on CPU, GPU, MB, and NVME drive. This PSU certainly fulfills that goal. ... show more

  • Needed the wattage for my AI/ML rig
Needed power to drive multiple GPU cards from my at home AI/ML rig, this beast does very well without getting too hot at all. I burned out two PSU before because the draw was just too much so this has lasted the longest so far. I recommend it for high end gaming rig or driving power hungry devices.

  • Great modular design with lots of power for newer builds and 4 GPU connectors
A lot of Watts for the price. First - great deal on 1050 Watts. I have been building computers for over 20 years, yes I am a dinosaur. I needed a better PSU than my old 700 Watt annd finally picked this one out after research. I look for power / price performance. This fit the bill. This is the first time I have tried a modular design and its great for cable management. Only use the connectors you want. I have shyed away from modular designs in the past as it creates another point of failure and typically has a larger footprint due to the connectors coming out the back. But, I am very pleased with this unit and the modular design. They have done a great hob of minimizing extra cables that you might not need. One thing I didnt like is the way the extra pins slide on the main MB connector. I htink about 80% of PSUs use this design and they easily slide off when attaching. Once attached it doestnt matter, but thats my only gripe. It would also be nice if there was another 1 to 2 inches in length for the main mobo connector. Thankfully it was longer than my old one and it was great that the 12v CPU connector was long enough to route behind my MOBO. Overall, great lengths of cables, great power specs, great price, Great that there are 2 sets of PCIE connectors. Oh one other thing. I have never cared about lights in my case or any of that, but recently started getting into the ARGB and this unit has a blue fan. It kind of kills my lighting scheme. It would be nice if you could switch off the blue. Just mention it for you gamers out there. For the price you cant beat this power supply for watts and 4 PCIE connectors with modular design for better cable management. But if you are worried about lights then take that into consideration. I havent checked, but you may be able to either clip the LED power line or replace the fan at your own risk. I am very happy with this on my build for performance, budget and cable management. ... show more

  • Hasn’t died yet. I hear the buzzing everywhere… it won’t stop… help… somebody… it won’t stop… buzz
This power supply is the bane of my computers existence. I am running an i5 12600k and an rx 6950xt. Even though it is rated for 1050w. It feels like it can only handle 400w. As soon as my gpu goes over 300w, my pc turns off. There is a chance this is happening because of temps or something else, but I’m led to believe it is the power supply because of the horrendous buzzing noise it makes when under load. Words cannot describe how insanely loud and annoying this noise is. It sounds like a beehive that needs an exorcism. It’s so loud that if a lawnmower could produce power, it would be a better option than this power supply. The buzzing is not because of the fan it is from internal components. I’m am extremely disappointed because it is only 3 days old and keeps getting worse. Do not buy this, you will regret it. Any 5 star reviews on this page are wrong. Also it has a blue light that you can’t turn off… it is ugly and makes me mad. ... show more

  • Power without the price tag.
Excellent 1050 watt psu. Have purchased 3 of these so far. Each one works like a champ. Buy some splitters and you're good to go. Being even a little modular is quite convenient.

  • Very Impressed
I did a new pc build and I was looking for a power supply that could handle what I needed. At first I was sketchy on this power supply, but decided to give it a chance anyway. Not only is it powerful enough, it is quiet as well. Needless to say that I will be upgrading my other pc with this power supply as well. ... show more
