The wall mount arrived on time and as pictured. I haven't installed it yet but it has several mounting options available and it appears sturdy enough for most projectors and even the smaller DVD or game systems. Only reason for 4 star instead of 5 the metal is a little sharp in spots. Definitely worth the advertised price. ... show more

I used one of these shelves to hold a projector in my son’s bedroom. It was lightweight enough that I didn’t need the anchors. The projector weighs 3 lbs and then I attached a firestick to that. It’s very sturdy. I mainly got this for the holes in the back for the wires to go thru. They’re perfect. You do get two shelves in the box. They also include tape and glue for a non drilling application but in my experience this type of glue doesn’t hold. I have a laundry shelf that used the exact same tube of glue and it didn’t hold for long. You may have better luck with stronger glue or command tape. But I generally just use the screws because it’s just more secure. I’m very happy with this shelf for the projector though. Works great. A little awkward to install because it had to be near the ceiling and I also had to be above the shelf to be able to reach the holes with the drill because the shelf is pretty wide front to back, but it wasn’t too difficult. I would make the same choice again if I had to. ... show more

Holes are big enough to put components on without having to undo all the connections. Like very much that the holes are wide enough for whatever head the cords have on them. Simple installation; I always securely mount everything. If for no other reason that if I trip and grab hold to catch my balance I need it to be secure. As with everything measure first.
