Much better than the cheaper plastic ones. Works great, charges fine and fits well enough. Lighted collars are a great way to keep an eye on your dog at night in the country side and to make it very visible to drivers should it wonder into the road due to your neglectful training, or lack thereof. ;) ... show more

PROs: Sturdy. Inexpensive. Good fit. Brightly lit when viewed in the dark. Good value for how little it costs. CONs: There is a plastic band running through the leash which is very stiff. It makes the dog collar bulge out a little bit where it had been folded up to fit packaging. The plastic band makes it harder than usual to resize the collar, as I had to feed the stiff plastic band through the buckle. When you turn on the collar in bright lighting, it becomes obvious that one side lights up a lot more brightly than the other. It is not really noticeable at nighttime. The collar is going to be permanent for the dog, turning it on at night and charging only as needed. The first time I left him alone with it, for 20 minutes or so - the collar was turned on (flashing mode) when I came back inside. Unclear how he did it. The next day, the dog gave himself a good shake and the collar switched on while he was shaking off. Not a major detractor, but it will contribute to a shorter battery life since my dog can turn it on with normal activity. ... show more

Nice collar-I purchased 2 in different colors. Bright, sturdy and comfortable. The problem is that I could not get it to recharge. It was very nice while it lasted. I tried several times and enlisted the assistance of tech savvy people-it would not charge.

I was looking for a light up collar for when I do night runs at the beach. This collar is perfect, and the battery life is exceptional. I have had these for a while now and they are still going strong. The red and the pink look similar at night. But overall I love these and they are waterproof.
