  • Excellent little practice amp!
This is an absolute value for the features that you get with this product. Great sounding effects and lots of them. Able to combine multiple effects as well. Lightweight easy to carry around Tony & would be great if you came with the lithium battery like the kithouse9 amp has. Cordless option would be awesome! The extra money would be worth it in this case. I would highly recommend this product for anybody looking for a great little light weight practice amp to use with headphones with various effects built-in. The drum tracks are OK. They serve their purpose. ... show more

  • Great little amp.
What a nice little practice amp. Saw reviews and videos, needed a battery powered amp, and metronome, Duh. This amp has a drum machine built in. Love the fact that it saves settings per preamp change. It doesn't have fancy computer editing or midi or presets/memory......and doesn't have the bricking/dead amp problems either. The FX were good enough and useful, preamp sounds were as described, and surprisingly responsive to different guitar pickup combinations. And...unlike other modeled mini boxes, the guitars actually sounded like what they were (strat, tele, paul, etc. ( instead of the tonal character getting lost in fuzzy manipulations.) Headphone out to a DAW or bigger amp is a hoot, very surprising. I could actually do a gig with this. Also, I should mention that some guitars NEED THIS AMP, as they sounded better thru this amp. (acoustic electrics sing like crazy) Highly recommended for a portable battery powered practice amp. (UPDATE; I did a outside acoustic guitar/vocal quickie at a public presentation. Did two songs, and it was perfect. Will be my acoustic guitar preamp from now on.) ... show more

  • Great little practice amp!
Pretty good little amp for the money. Two effects on at once can sound a bit weird. You have to find the sweet spot. Or spots. At first review I thought there was no way to adjust volume/ speed of drum machine! But there is!! The thing I REALLY DONT LIKE is there is no way to carry the amp around , since I live in a very rural area so I walk around and jam while I'm walking. My other little portable amp clips on to my belt, guitar strap or whatever. With this one maybe I can put it in a book bag or something because it is better sounding than my other little amp. For the money it's a good little amp that does it's job.. I don't know about the Bluetooth yet cause I haven't tried it. I will edit this review when I do try it. Even if the Bluetooth doesn't do anything the amp is still worth the price. Also great for beginners. Just gotta figure out how to carry it when I walk the streets jamming!! The adapter didn't work but I fiddled with the wire and it came on. ... show more

  • Fun little practice amp
This is not loud by any means but it's a fun quiet little amp that has a nice selection of tones from clean to "metal" sounding distortion. It has reverb and chorus as well. The drum beats are all really basic but it's fun to put one on and jam along to. I got this for my wife as she is learning to play the guitar but I'll admit that I have been using it more. It's much easier to play around on this than to lug out the big full size amp and peddles. ... show more

  • The perfect bluetooth headphone practice amp!
If you are looking for something that sounds like a wound-up marshall in your bedroom, this might not do it for you. However, if you are looking for a clean, accurate sounding practice amp with several good tones to use while wearing headphones, this is one of the smallest and best (with bluetooth) I've tried (especially for the price!) I needed something I could work on chord/scale articulation and picking technique, with a small set of headphones (and not annoy others in the room). This was perfect! I can even listen to the news via bluetooth, while I'm practicing which keeps things from getting boring. Especially for a professional (working on keeping his chops up while on tour) this is almost the perfect little amp. Plus, it runs on batteries when you need it to! ... show more

  • Doesn't work with rechargeable batteries
I was pretty excited about all the features on this little amp. I got it in and plugged it into my pedalboard power supply. It took a min to coax a decent sound out of it but it doesn't sound too bad. Unfortunately when I put rechargeable batteries in, it didn't power up. I went ahead and took the rechargeable batteries out that and inserted regular energizers, and it worked. I sat on the fence for a bit but decided to return it for that reason. I ordered a Blackstar fly3 with blue tooth in the meantime and got to test them side by side. While the Blackstar has less options for a bit more money, its a much better practice amp. It sounds better, and the build quality is way better. If you are going to plug this in, or don't care about using only disposable batteries, this is still a pretty good practice amp. ... show more

  • I like this little guy very much
I am not a guitar player but I practice often. I always use this little guy with a pair wireless transmitter. Most recently I use it for my DIY lap steel guitar. It sounds much better than you would expect looking the size. Headphone outlet and bluetooth are very handy. Highly recommended!

  • Cheap and some good tones can be had...
It takes more skill than a beginner will have to make this amp sound good. But, it has some good presets and you can toss a drum track into the mix to play with. It's not loud - and isn't meant to be. It's a small tabletop amp with some modeling capability - which isn't really modeling anything all that close. Again, there are some fine tones to be had, but you're not going to sound like Slash with Marshall stacks. At $80 it was a 'good' amp. In my project, I used it for about two months and just decided to buy a Fender Mustang LT25. If you're willing to save up a bit longer, you can just go right to that amp and be happier. Otherwise, you can probably dump it on Reverb when you replace it and get at least some of your money back out of it. ... show more
