I managed to snag 2 of these tanks at $76 each!! I was a little skeptical about these tanks because of some of the bad reviews I read; but, they have been amazing. Both tanks filled with no problem, are so easy to transport and maneuver in the horizontal position instead of vertical, and work great supplying propane for my greenhouse heater. The built in gauge is excellent and seems to be accurate, allowing volume checks at a glance. I tested thoroughly for leaks and found none! Also, these tanks were both 6-8 months old from date of manufacture which is really good since they're able to be used 12 years before needing to be recertified. I bought a tank from another company and they sent me a rusted 3 year old tank for a brand new price. I sent it back and have been very pleased with these tanks. ... show more

I sometimes carry my propane on a hitch rack on the back of my promaster RV, but sometimes I don't want to use the rack & prefer to put the tank inside. ( it runs my little fire pit, no more wood campfires for me) BUT I didn't know it was illegal ( jurisdiction dependent) to carry a standard tank on its side. This tank has flanges to make adding a piece of plywood so it's nice and stable laying sideways somit fits nice in the storage space. I bought a second one, that's my confidence. ... show more

This tank worked okay for a bit, but then something internally went wrong and it no longer lets gas flow. I contacted Flame King customer service and I was told that sense I bought it through Amazon they would not stand by their products (even though it says I bought it from the Flame King Store). Very disheartening when you spend so much money, plus the propane to fill it, and it all turned out to be a waste of money. ... show more
