Description

Flambeau Outdoors 4007 Tuff Tainer Divided is a versatile box for storing water sensitive fishing supplies such as baits, hooks, and fishing lures. The box is designed with a translucent lid and base for convenient identification of contents when closed. Includes 15 Zerust dividers to create up to 18 small compartments. Zerust products are made with a proprietary chemical formulation that is invisible, odorless, non-toxic, non-reactive, non-flammable and non- allergenic. This chemical formulation releases a vapor that diffuses throughout an enclosure made with Zerust VCI materials and settles on exposed metal surfaces to form a microscopic corrosion inhibiting layer.

Wanted to consolidate my fishing tackle and organize it into a consistent sized plastic box. Have a bunch of random sizes that make finding my gear more trouble than it needs to be. • These work great. The 11'' x 7.25'' x 1.75'' for only $3,73 each is an incredible deal!!! If you bought these as “fishing tackle” boxes you would be spending more than twice the price or more. • Each box comes with 10 dividers. • LOVE the size. Perfect for a backpack fishing bag. The dividers come strips, linked with small plastic tabs. You need to cut them apart. Not a big deal but time consuming when you are doing 4 boxes at once. Also please note that there are not enough tabs to divide every section in the box. If you are like me one you wanted to have each of your lures in a separate compartment, just hope that you have some very large ones that take up 2 to 3 sections. Wish it came with one more strip of dividers. (only 10) per box Overall the build quality is great and the dividers fit well, lock into place securely and also help to give the case some extra rigidity because they lock in place. Not like some of those boxes that have a square channel for dividers, these are beveled and fit like a dovetail joint. Case locks are plastic, have a good from click and stay closed well. I have easily 15 or so assorted boxes from Flambeau, and the build quality and the clasps are all top notch. Little tip, when you snap the dividers from the tabs (think vintage plastic models), leave a slight bit of plastic bur on the sides. It helps the dividers a bit more snugly and stay in place better. Or, if you want dividers that can easily slide in an out, then clean off any plastic burs. ... show more

I bought these to organize batteries. I'm using two to organize batteries from watch size up to Ds. It works great! I live that the dividers are adjustable but slide in firmly. No more junk drawer of batteries. The latch and quality has been great for this use.

I have quite a few of these boxes and have one issue with them that prevents a 5-star rating. If you use any of the compartments for hooks, split rings, or other small items, the lid does not seat firmly against the dividers, allowing the items to spill into other compartments. Perfect for sorting/storing little magnetic charging tips, connectors, tiny adapters. Much easier than the rubbery hole strips. Regular electrical outlet adapters are too big, but three, 6 inch cords will fit in one large section. Excellent price, too.
