Bought these cause I lose so much terminal tackle trying for tog. With 50lb mono leader, the line snaps before that hook and that’s what matters. I’ve only used all 50 in 1 weekend and I’ve caught plenty of tog over 15inches with these. Will keep buying!

Bought these in size 2, 4, and 6. (250 hooks!) Use for finesse bass fishing for small smallmouth. They seem to hold as well as any other hook, and seem sharp enough. I smash the barbs for all my fishing (it’s safer for both fish and angler and can improve the hook set as well). In the photos they look identical to Gamakatsu hooks, but they are not. I find this to be deceptive advertising. My second (related) complaint is that the way these barbs are cut is old school, creating a thick barb that doesn’t really punch down all the way.
