The costume is fine, but the face part is attached and has velcro in back of head. My son never actually wore the face part because it was awkward so it just hung around his neck. Good quality just would be better if face part was separate

So overall my 6yr old loved it. Good costume, the words on the but didn’t bother us. However it does run small. I returned the medium for a large and it’s still snug and my son is average size at best. Also my biggest problem the head portion is way off we have to leave it partially open. I probably would have returned but he wouldn’t dare let me lol ... show more

The costume was just what my son wanted. The only drawback was that the hands are very difficult to put on, we finally ended up just cutting them off and getting white gloves.

My son really wanted to be Slenderman for Halloween. This costume fit him well and looked good. He did have a hard time seeing in the dark with it on and he said it got hot walking around the neighborhood. It's definitely on the small side. I'm glad I ordered the large size. I don't like that it advertises that you can drink through the mask. I don't get the thought process behind that. Yes, you CAN, but then you have a wet costume on your face and a darker fabric from where you drank. And of course you can only drink something colorless or you'd get that color tinged into the costume. But the costume itself is great... my son loves these 3rd skin costumes. Last year he was a crash test dummy and it was a huge hit when he would pose like one. Word of advice... the head is always a really tight fit... we stuff ours with towels or a ball or some such item to try to stretch it out a bit before Halloween so it's not squishing his nose into his face. ... show more

My son was super happy and said he can see through it fine. It's very stretchy which is good because it's very tight. Red reviews and I ordered a size up because of it. He still needed some help slipping it on and peeling the velcro mask off with the gloves on. Very happy with it. Arrived fast. But DEFINITELY SIZE UP.     • Cute look but did not wash well
The look of this was perfect but there is very little stretch so it pulls on my sons neck and after one was, alone and in cold water the white area is now grey.

Purchased size Large for 7 yr old grandson, and it fits him perfect, no room for growth. He can only wear this costume with just his underwear, without a tshirt. He is average size for his age and it is pretty snug on him. But he loves this costume and wears it almost on daily basis.
