It only took a little over an hour to assemble. Once you do one the second one is easy. I did find that the rattan covered a few holes a bit so I took a screwdriver and gently lifted the rattan to slide the washer in place. The quality of the furniture is pretty good and I hope it will last for a while. I’m 5’8 and the chairs are comfortable. Might need better cushions in the future. The glass table seems to have strong enough suction to keep the glass in place.. There was a small hiccup with the order and customer service was great. I have needed a small sitting area set on my front patio for several months now but I couldn’t find ones that I liked that weren’t going to cost a fortune. I came across this set on Amazon and I thought I would give it a try. These look great! I thought they were very easy to our together (I also enjoy this part of getting new new furniture so it was kinda fun for me!) and the quality seems great. The cushions are a bit thin but for my purpose, this works for me. I won’t be sitting on my front porch for hours on end so comfort isn’t a huge deal for me. Looking for a new relationship date/stress test that doubles as budget friendly patio furniture? This is the one for you! First off, let's talk height. These chairs sit low to the ground, you may feel like you're auditioning for a role in "The Hobbit." But fear not, hobbits and humans alike, for once you're nestled into these ground-level thrones, you'll feel like you're on cloud nine. Or at least on cloud three and a half. Ok that’s an exaggeration, they aren’t THAT low, but you will think “these are low”. And cloud three and a half? Well, there’s nothing comfy about these chairs. But really, how often are you going to sit in them. Throw a pillow on them and they’ll be comfy enough! Now, onto assembly. Picture this: you and your significant other, armed with the included allen wrench, attempting to piece together the perfect patio ensemble. It's like a game of relationship Jenga – one false move, and you're questioning everything. But fear not, brave souls, for if your love can survive the lettered pieces and cryptic instructions, you're in it for the long haul. Easier than IKEA furniture assembly so it’s the perfect first furniture assembly test. Budget-friendly? Check. Lightweight? Check. Wind-resistant? Uh, not so much. If you live in a windy locale, prepare for your patio set to take flight like a budget-friendly Mary Poppins. Just make sure you tie it down with more than just good intentions. Rain and sun- resistant? I can’t say. But I’d not recommend it to my friends. I’d say this is more for a covered patio, 1-2 years type of set. There was a lot of care taken when they packed all of the parts to this set. There is EXTRA hardware and the instructions were very clear. Once put together I could tell this would be a solid set that would last my niece for many years. I bought it for her housewarming gift.

This is a really cute set! I purchased it for my small patio slab, and it fits perfectly. The rattan is durable quality and doesn't seem as though it will fade much with sun exposure. The cushions that come with it are waterproof, so they don't have to be brought in when it rains. The building instructions were simple to follow, and all parts were clearly labeled. Assembling the entire set alone took me roughly 90 minutes, using just the allen wrench included. Two people involved would be ideal, simply to have someone to balance/hold the large pieces in place while you line up the small screw holes. ... show more

This set was a great deal for the cost. I finally have outdoor furniture. It's pretty comfortable looks great and wasn't too hard to put together myself although the allen wrench and I about got into it a few times on some tight areas. If you have a tight budget but need some outdoor seating I would definitely recommend this. Perfect for our small patio. The covers are washable making it easy to remove all of the dust and debris from weather outside- super easy to clean any other parts of the chair as well. Incredibly easy to put together and are very comfortable.

Missed the info about assembly needed. For the most part it wasn't hard to put together but it was time consuming (3 hours). Shouldn't have taken that long but some of the plastic rattan material covered some of the screw holes requiring some fanagling. One chair and table completed and looks great, the second chair has one last screw that can't be inserted. The screw hole has a piece of errant metal stopping it. We will go to town tomorrow and get a self tapping screw that we hope will take care of business. As noted, I expected a couple of big boxes but everything came compact in a single well packed box. Came rather quickly and in good condition. This initial review finds us mostly pleased and if it hadn't been for the frustrating screw issues we would have given a 5.
