I love sparkling water with some juice and it works perfect with this product. I leave it in the fridge for the next day, it’s still sparkling like any bottled water. I also tried to “sparkle”some old coke from the previous day and also worked perfect. The nozzle does not need to reach all the way in the drink. Looks nice but it is cheaply made. The unit has some type of metal round disk where the pod sits during carbonation. The disk came off and became glued on my quartz countertop. I spent one hour trying to remove it. In the garbage it goes! UPDATE: I ended up buying DrinkMate which has a more solid build and does a better job at carbonation. ... show more

The drinkpod is exactly what they said it would be. Occasionally, the cylinder needs to be tightened up again. This makes a very tall drink and the holder is really too tall to put in the frig, but you can see that in the picture. I just wasn't thinking about that. All in all, I love it. Trying to get away from soft drinks, I didn't want to leave the carbonation behind and this does this trick. ... show more

Carbonator itself works well, bundle is a not worth the price with ONLY ONE CO2 cylinder! I wish I'd have just bought the base carbonator itself!!! I thought it was a good deal until the CO2 cylinder (ONE) was received and I then noticed that in EASY TO MISS wording of the description it DID say one instead of two CO2 cylinders. Their "bundle price" charged an EXTRA $44 for a SINGLE CO2 cylinder that I could have bought locally for only $25!!! They made it right with me, but my low rating of the bundle will remain unchanged until they either reduce the bundle price by at least $20 or start selling the bundle listed as and actually including two instead of only one CO2 cylinder. ... show more
