A friend came over and we both tried to figure out what was not working. The scale showed data but the app didn’t record the new weight etc. Despite days of use, it would show a weight change but would print repeatedly the same data. Tried resetting the dara, deleted and reinstalled app. Finally after originally having new batteries installed , took them out and replaced them with also new batteries from the same pack. It worked! So far it seems to be working well. Not really sure.. maybe a “new” battery was bad, or one moved losing contact.Just didn’t want to trash the product especially if it was a bad “ new “ battery! ... show more

I love this scale and the associated app. It provides a lot of useful information about bodily processes in addition to weight. My only concern is that one of the four metal plates that help measure bodily functions fell off the scale. I am assuming this will be an easy repair since it is just a matter of re-soldering the leads and reattaching the metal plate. Beyond that, this is an amazingly helpful product. ... show more

So although I have no reason to doubt it about all of the things besides my weight I can’t prove nor disprove the accuracy of anything other than weight. However I love that I can track with my phone. Now I have only 2 issues. It took a bit to get it connected kept saying it couldn’t connect to my Wi-Fi or something. But my biggest complaint is it doesn’t seem to keep track of itself. I weigh myself in the morning & a few hours later I’m getting a reminder to weigh myself. Luckily it’s light weight & I’m able to take it to my sisters when I’m there for extended periods of time. So a definite keeper. ... show more

I went from a plain ol’ Walmart scale to this one after hearing it recommended on a TikTok. I wanted the body composition features that cheap ones didn’t offer. I used it for months with no issue at all. I loved how it integrated with my Apple Health data. When they “upgraded” apps by switching to a new one, I noticed that it would sync everything to Apple Health EXCEPT weight, so I continued using the discontinued app and it worked fine. (The weight syncing issue has since been corrected with an update). Up until a few weeks ago, I was very happy and would’ve given a glowing review. Then I changed the batteries… After changing the batteries, the weight started reading almost exactly 10lbs lower. I verified it was incorrect by checking with another scale. I attempted the official recalibration steps from FitTrack and it still read low. I tried submit an assistance request through the app with no response. I had to reach out to their Facebook page and start instant messaging their page. They did try providing some troubleshooting steps, but ultimately told me I’d have to reach out to Amazon for replacement since I ordered it through Amazon. They mentioned that they had technical support and even asked for details, then said they wouldn’t submit it. The Order Details page says I’ve surpassed my return and product support range. When searching for warranty information on the FitTrack website, I found a lifetime warranty registration for Amazon customers which requests an Amazon review link. That is why I’ve written this review, though I hope you can see I haven’t masked my experience in any way to get more favorable support. Wish me luck! ... show more

We have used this product since October of 2020, and have enough experience with it to give a review. The short version is that we can give this product a five-star review and I have had high standards in reviewing products. The price was competitive, and the scale was accurate. I compared the FitTrack scale with another scale that proved to be accurate. Usually, they read the same, and occasionally there was up to a 1 lb difference. Besides measuring weight the scale also measures the following: Weight – Accurate to +/- 300grams BMI (body mass index) BFP (body fat percentage) Muscle rate (percentage) Body water (percentage) – Maintain optimal levels of hydration every day Bone mass – Discover your body’s foundational composition BMR (basal metabolic rate) Protein rate Metabolic age Visceral fat index Subcutaneous fat Standard weight – Ideal weight Weight control – The difference between your actual and standard weight) Fat mass – Get a clearer picture of your overall health Weight without fat Muscle mass – Understand if you’re losing fat, gaining strength, or both Protein mass The BMI is interesting in that when comparing the results with a caliper measurement they were in an acceptable range. I am not a fan of the BMI measurement because in my experience in the military our percentage of fat for our group was 10% +/- 1%, and using the BMI measurement it showed us as obese, or at minimum overweight. I did not research how well this worked today with the very physically fit person. Depending on what your personal goals are be it weight or other health goals this product does an excellent job of tracking measurement that may be of concern to you. This is a product that I can support without reservation within the guidelines of this report. ... show more

    • The scale is too small and unstable, and the connection between the scale and the app is horrible

When the app and the scale communicate properly it is ok, the accuracy is acceptable and the app is easy to use. The problem is that the scale and the app loose connection constantly and even though the weight shows in the app, it doesn't finish acquiring the messurements and just stays there and never records anything, you have to remove the batteries to restore proper communication. Also, the scale is too small for adult feet and it is unstable when you step up. ... show more
