It fit well, but I wound up returning it because I found the stays uncomfortable on some fibromyalgia spots on my lower back.     • Great for sciatica pain, some minor tweaks

I unexpectedly started having really really bad sciatica pain after having to do a lot of traveling on short notice - I must have pulled something while lifting luggage, or pinched something in an uncomfortable airline seat. I was able to request this as part of Amazon Vine, and I'm so freakin glad I did. While not perfect, this belt made it so much easier to exist without being in pain. It's comfortable and true to size, with stretchy bands and velcro straps that are easy to adjust. The instructions for use are also pretty straight forward, although I had to adjust the belt sometimes so that the back portion was a little higher up than the front - your mileage may vary depending on the shape of your hips and stomach. I have used it continuously for about two weeks now, and my only critiques are that it's pretty visible under a shirt/over pants, but can't really be worn under your pants. Depending on how tight you make the belt (I had to make it pretty tight) there's also noticeable wrunching and pulling of the fabric by the overlying bungee straps. Not a big deal, but it makes it not very smooth. Solid recommend otherwise if you don't need to wear it under clothes. ... show more

I love that this is a multi-function belt that is a bit wider than others on the market. I've tried a few! This width makes it much easier to place for SI joint relief, and also works well to hold in and stabilize my hip. This belt is also easy to cinch as tight as you desire, and it does not shift on me while wearing it due to the rubber treads on the inside of the belt. Pain was relieved almost instantly (I'm not pain-free, but there is a notable difference!!) In terms of what a belt-support can do, A+! The sizing chart is true to fit. I am at the upper most end of a size, and was debating on ordering the next size up (which started with the same measurement). I went with the smaller size, and altbough I am at the max measurement, the belt fits with plenty of velcro reaching the other end to overlap. ... show more

This belt/brace does actually help a bit. It won't make the pain go away entirely but it definitely gives me some much-needed relief with my sciatica pain. This belt seems to be slightly wider than other hip belts I've encountered so that's a nice aspect. I feel like it's covering more of the troubled area because of this. I haven't had an issue with the belt moving or sliding around but when I'm in pain, I'm not moving much anyway so the belt really has no problem staying in place. I love how easy it is to put on and the velcro is nice and strong. I even like the little purple accents on this belt. This belt is comfortable. I can wear it for hours without discomfort.
