I had an accident in June 2024 which rendered me bed ridden for 4 months with compound fractures on my L1 and L2 vertebraes. Surgery was not an option due to the high risk nerve damage so I've been in bed for months with very uncomfortable back braces and by a miracle I'm walking around. The thing about this brace is definitely the most breathable one I've yet to purchase. All medical ones are hot and I'm in Mozambique, so believe me when I say hot, it's hot with humid weather that you just want to put yourself inside a freezer and that's a big no no because cold is not your friend when recovering from a severe bone injury but it's a balance between protecting my back and not being uncomfortable and this brace is exactly that. The fit is exactly as it states so follow the chart correctly because my small size is literally perfect. The fabric is a mesh and breathability is at it's highest with this brace. The price is super friendly and the quality blew my expectations. Due to the perfect fit it supports my balance and spine and it's an honest fear I have now that I'm recovering to fall or lose balance. One thing that I value a lot on this brace compared to the ones from the hospital is that I can actually sit for more than 2 hours now without feeling pain on my hips from the old braces digging in even though those are adjustable with buttons and pulley system and very expensive. ... show more

My physical therapist told me I need to wear this 24/7 and I have a severe issue with my back due to work injuries. On god The moment I put this on and I did the tighting of it. All the pain melted away withen the first second and I felt so much freaking relief. I was able to stand up straight and walk and do some slight basics. But the moment I took it off. I felt the pain. Then brace does a pretty good job supporting my back. I ordered the size that should have fit comfortably but I found it to be a bit small. I was close to the end of having any slack but it works anyway. Also the front where all the closure is tends to roll up while sitting and digs into my abdomen. I like that it came on time and with instructions, not that they're needed. I'm 5'4, 27 8nch waist, and 135 pounds.I ordered a size small and it is a perfect fit. The brace is very comfortable and give my back a much needed support from spinal stenosis and a fractured sacrum and bulging discs. It's only day one and I can already see an improvement from my old brace. It's breathable, supports you,and hasn't ridden up on me while I'm sitting in my electric wheelchair. Hurt my back picking up buckets full of water and my back got better so I put it in the drawer for a couple of months. Hurt my back again and this thing saved me from excruciating pain. I tightened it quite a bit, and worked fine while standing. But if you sit or bend over it either moved or rolled in the front. Not sure if it's because I have a big belly though. It's a good item though.
