Top Amazon Reviews

  • Nice feature set, limited 'faces'
Size: 1.8 Color: Black
This is my first smart watch, and I was surprised at the functions you can get at this price point (~$50). All the features listed by the seller seem to function as expected, although I can't vouch for the technical accuracy of the measurements. For example, I was surprised and disappointed by how slow it claimed I was walking - I figured that my brisk-paced walk would be ~4mph but it claims I'm only walking at a 2.8mph pace. A big part of this type of product is the software. Thus, one thing to do when considering which watch to order is to find the item's app on google play and read its reviews. This watch's app is called 'veryfit' and it seems to be shared by many models of smart watch. Be prepared that you can't begin to use the watch at all without at least once using the app, just to 'register' the device. The seller requests your email but doesn't force you, and you seem to get all the watch and app features without sharing that. One advantage of the app is that it can upload firmware updates to the watch's software. I don't have any expectation how often such updates will happen, but one was available when I 'registered' my watch. Another important 'must' of this type of product is comfort. In order to get the most of this item, you'll need to be wearing it all day and night, so the watch band and backing have got to be comfortable. The band that comes with the watch is some kind of simple black rubbery plastic, maybe silicone, that I find comfortable. I see that some people on amazon have asked what alternate bands are compatible - my advice is to ask the seller directly. One design decision for the watch band that I'm not happy about is that instead of providing a sliding loop to hold the slack in the band, the band itself has a fixed hole into which you are expected to insert the slack. I find that 'feature' difficult to use, but I can live with it, begrudgingly. The watch doesn't come with quality written documentation. The seller expects you to use the documentation built into the 'veryfit' app. You do NOT need to connect to the internet for that; it's built into the downloaded app. Currently, there aren't too many options to customize the 'look' of the watch. You can connect to the internet to download whatever 'faces' are available, but for this watch the pickings were slim last I checked. Also, the watch only has memory reserved for one additional 'face', so you can't download a bunch and swap them on-the-fly. ... show more

  • Good Lucking Watch
Size: 1.8 Color: Black
This watch looks good and is fairly easy to set-up. Do not expect it to be the same as one of the high priced "name brand" Smart" watches. It doesn't have all of the capabilities as those watches, but it also doesn't have anything close to the same high price point. This fitness watch measures steps, heart rate, and other fitness related data. It also connect to Alexa although I've not been successful on getting it to work. The look of the watch is nice and it's easy to move from screen to screen. At this price point it is a good buy. ... show more

  • Nice functions, easy to use, great screen size, brightness. Not very rugged.
Size: 1.8 Color: Black
I ordered this smartwatch for review primarily for two reasons, the health monitoring and being able to look up the weather without having to take out my phone. I actually like the watch, but I believe that the price exceeds the capabilities. For this price I would want it to also monitor blood pressure, for example. I should also mention that the battery life is phenomenal when you don't use the Alexa integration or other phone-linked functions all the time. Mine was going for a full week or a little over before requiring a recharge. As you can see I added a mini compass made for 20mm straps and it fit perfectly, adding to the functionality of the watch. PROS - Extremely light, you don't even notice its weight. Important for sleeping with it. - Good sleep tracking, This is rare in inexpensive smartwatches, but maybe this one is not so inexpendive. - Bright, easy to read screen. Large enough even for my poor eyesight. - Good user interface, easy to understand, responsive, large buttons which are easy to hit. - Flashlight function. It turns the whole screen white at high intensity. Does a pretty good job. - Dead simple weather app which grabs data from your phone. I found it very useful. - I didn't use many workout options, just the one for cycling but there are a huge number of them. - Accurate heart rate and SpO2. I verified with a good BP machine and pulse oximeter. - Find phone function. Not useful to me but I can see how some people would find it useful. Rings yoru phone even if you have the sound turned off, as I do always. - Camera control. Makes a good remote shutter for your phone's camera. One less thing to carry, and much more convenient than using the self timer and running back to be in the picture. CONS - No blood pressure monitoring - Not many watchfaces, but enough for me. Note: you can only add a couple of them on the wath and then it says it's full. I don't know if this will also limit the amount of health data it can store. - Very flimsy watchband, plastic buckle - Not very strong plastic case, it seems easy to break, but you have admit it is very light. - Turning the button doesn't do anything, but the screen swiping is much better in my opinion - In the shower it's fine, if you shake it off. I wouldn't go swimming with it I don't think. - No calculator. This is a big one for my for some reason. If it had one I could avoid pulling out my phone, and it seems so obvious and so easy to add one. In the end, It's fine for what it does, but I don't think it justifies the price. I would recommend getting a cheaper watch with the same functions if those functions are all you need, or spending just a little more (maybe the same) on a more well-known brand smartwatch, for example from Amazfit or even a low-end fitbit. You will get better reliability, durability, and maybe fewer but better laid out functions. ... show more

  • Great value, screen does scratch easier than expected
Size: 1.8 Color: Black
This has more features than my spouse's Fitbit Versa 2 at a third of the price. Let's get the negative out of the way the screen does scratch pretty easy. Even during light office work it took a few hits. Other than that, this thing is great. The battery lasts for days, the screen is easy to use and responsive, all the fitness tracking features work well. The navigation of the menus on the phone is intuitive and the app entitled "VeryFit" is well polished. I wasn't expecting much from an a basically unknown brand called "Woneligo", but they have made both hardware AND software that gives the big names in the fitness tracker space some real competition. ... show more
