I’ve had this watch for 4 years and it’s held up amazing. The battery life definitely shifts over time, but ultimately it was a great watch. I would recommend it if you’re not looking to have all the features of apple or garmain watches!

First and foremost I’d like to start by saying this is my first actual fitness watch. I’ve only borrowed the Apple Watch from a friend to test it out so I have some knowledge on them. I wanted something affordable and that could track my workouts so I went for the Versa 3, I had no expectations, just wanted to track my workouts. Battery: I’m honestly impressed! I love this watch, I love the battery life on this thing! Battery lasts around 5-6 days and I’ve been putting it to work. I only take it off to shower and wear it to sleep as well. I’m honestly in love with the fact that I don’t have to be charging it constantly. Fitness: Compared to the Apple Watch Fitbit doesn’t offer that many exercise options, I don’t know if the options are paywalled, but the options available are enough for me. I mostly used it to track my weight lifting (HR mostly) as well as cardio which consisted of running on the treadmill or cycling. [I haven’t tested out the GPS system for running outdoors] HR Tracking: I don’t know how accurate the Heart Rate tracker is, but I do feel like it’s fairly accurate. I tested it out on the treadmill and in times of full sprints I was alerted for having a heart rate of above 170 bpm, and for lighter cardio sessions I kept my HR at around 120-135bpm which stated it was “fat burning”. The heart rate tracker does fluctuate and at times it does feel like it’s not all 100% accurate but based on my body, and my training, I found it incredibly useful for tracking my workouts. Fitbit App: The app is very user friendly and offers a lot of stats gathered from the watch itself, you can see the HR of all your workouts or simply throughout the day. It also tracks your sleep automatically if you wear the watch to bed. It shows you what stages of sleep you go through and I found it pretty useful. If you’re interested in paying for the extra features, Fitbit does has a subscription that shares workout videos as well as fitness articles and such. OTHER FEATURES: The watch offers a steps tracker as well as tracking how many flights of stairs you’ve gone up, the steps is fairly accurate but the stair tracker doesn’t really work. I live in a 2 floor apartment, and even when going up the stairs the watch doesn’t seem to track that. As for the step counter I feel like it is fairly accurate but easily flawed because slight forward motion on your arm can be counted as a “step”. There are many features to this watch most of them I haven’t used since I only bought this for tracking workouts. But it does offer Alarms and other useful apps that you could use on the daily basis as well as a find my phone feature that plays a loud sound on your phone when pressed so you can easily find it. To finish this off, I’ve never done an in depth review but I’m uploading this one in hopes that it’ll help someone who needs a little convincing! I did a bunch of research originally before I bought the watch, and I’m impressed on how well it has worked and how great is has tracked my workouts.     • CAUTION: FitBit was great - until it was not: HORRIBLE customer service.

I had been a Fitbit user for years and this is my 3rd device in the last 10 years or so. If you are lucky and your device works fine, The Versa 3 is an OK device. But if you have an issue, forget it. I bought this Fitbit Versa 3 in October 2023. It was always fussy and not very responsive to pressing the side button and in April stopped holding a charge for very long. In May, it died completely and would not charge again. I looked this issue up and did all of the trouble shooting that Fitbit suggests and that the forums suggest (and this does seem a common issue). I cleaning the contact points on the watch and charger cable (with a alcohol wipe). I tried different USB ports in plugs and in a few outlets, tried multiple outlets in my home. Let the watch sit even overnight (not) charging on two different outlets. Tried pressing the button to re-set. Re-booted phone and turned Bluetooth on an off, and, in the end in desperation unpaired from my phone (of course now it cant re-pair to phone because the device is dead). I "live chatted" TWICE with people purporting to be w/Fitbit customer service. In both cases, they said I would get an email "in a couple of hours" after they "reviewed my case." I told customer service person #2 that I never heard back the first time, and the person apologized and said "we have 24 hours to respond." Well, it's been a few days since my first call and a day since my second and nothing from Fitbit. I have Asurion that I could claim against, but I think that is for repair or replacement and I really don't think I want another Fitbit now that I know how horrible their customer service is. UPDATE: I got the answer from FitBit -- "Thanks for providing additional information. Unfortunately, your product doesn’t meet the replacement requirements of our warranty policy."     • Great product, do not bring in ocean

I got my first fitbit versa 3 in 2021 since then I've worn it literally everywhere imaginable even the ocean since it was water proof. In 2024 I wore my fitbit in the ocean for literally at most 5 minutes. I got out, it was working and I put i took it off and put it on my chair to dry. Thats when it broke. I assumed if it's water proof sand cannot get in but i was wrong. I immediately ordered this one again (I heard the 4 isn't as good). I love this fitbit and would recommend in a heart beat, just dont bring it in the ocean/ lake🥲 ... show more
