  • How to use it.
Color: Black/Black
It worked great after I figured out how to use it.The directions did not work like they were supposed to. I am referring to the instructions that were written on the tag that came with it.

  • Lasts so long!
Color: Black/Black
I’ve had this watch for 4 years and it’s held up amazing. The battery life definitely shifts over time, but ultimately it was a great watch. I would recommend it if you’re not looking to have all the features of apple or garmain watches!

  • Just what I needed
Color: Black/Black
I updated my fitness tracker from a Fitbit Versa 2. Prior to that I used a Versa. This incorporates GPS into the functionality for outdoor exercises. I start the exercising tracking, and it shows the pace of movement, as well as mapping on the app. I find that very useful when compared to the older version of GPS trackers that required a calibration. I purchased a set of third party watch faces for data and weather incorporation. The menu system on the phone is quite robust. The data includes steps, calories burned/expended, heart rate, levels of stairs, sleep, etc. There are widgets to toggle important information. Swiping to the left activates the major settings such as brightness, automatic or manual wake function, do not disturb, screen brightness and music volume. It has some apps preinstalled but Spotify and Pandora require premium subscription to function. There is a decent number of apps in the App Store but the function for me is exercise tracking, sleep tracking and time/weather. Screen brightness is more than adequate with standard mode, even in sunlight. Activity tracking does shorten battery life. It is decent at measuring heart rate though I believe it is at times for me, underestimating values. The app is top notch and keeps track of all data. I sync my app to my calorie counter for integrating my health data. To me, it works as intended. I don’t need a smartwatch on my wrist. Battery life is excellent, though with activity tracking the life is about 3 days between charges. Charging time is respectable. The charger is an upgrade which uses a magnetic interface. It is more of a sure fit than prior renditions. The nicest part for me is that I don’t have to remove the watch from the third party protective case. I have only used this brand so I have no comparison with other trackers. I’m very pleased. ... show more

  • Great watch, used it for years
Color: Black/Black
I used this watch for over 3 years and loved it. The app was easy to set up and use, I love the health tracking functionality (sleep, exercise, etc.). The battery life was amazing, I could often go more than a week without charging. Only reason I won’t give five stars is because last week I went for a 20 minute swim and since then the watch has not been working. Constantly turning off/on, not responding to button presses, and not syncing. I have gotten it wet before but never taken it swimming for that long. I would be careful about taking this product into water. ... show more

  • Spectacular failure - unless pulling your arm hairs out is it's purpose.
Color: Black/Black
I bought this for my husband for Christmas because he wanted it; he's since changed his mind and this review is in his words. Pros Battery life was phenomenal. I never really used it for making/taking phone calls but I did find having a mic/speaker on the phone to be pleasant. Cons Setting it up was kind of a obnoxious - lots of questions and agreeing. Some of it is Android's fault but some of it was Fitbit's too. Too much explaining permissions or what you're agreeing too or whatever - the whole thing just felt like signing your life away. The strap tries to be unique and clever by tucking the excess part underneath the part wrapped around your wrist. I find this to be a bad idea because it results in arm hairs getting swept into the strap while securing it, which then results in arm hairs being pulled out of your arm. This is painful for several seconds while you futz with it to get it just right. This sounds silly but is a serious reason to not want to wear it. Maybe a different strap would help (and that is an awesome feature) but it shouldn't be like this when purchased. This is probably the number one reason for my dislike of this watch. I didn't expect a physical button and was pleasantly surprised to find one - and then I used it. The button is on the watches left (9 o'clock) side so when you wear it on your left arm you have to reach across your body - and the watch - to tap it. Maybe that would be tolerable if there were any rhyme or reason for how to press it, but there's not, there's no consistency except for the whole button experience being awful. Prior to this I had used a WearOs watch and since most people hate WearOs but love Fitbit I expected Fitbit to be the kitten's pajamas - far from it. There's no consistency to the OS, no home button that you can rely on, it's like navigating in the dark. Also, getting notifications on your phone from other Android apps required proactively turning it on (and knowing it existed - and how to find it because it is buried in a weird menu'ing system within the app) - most people wouldn't know how to do this. I slept with it on for two nights ... the first night it seemed to accurately measure my sleep but the second night it didn't detect any sleep and I slept better and longer - go figure. One of the main reasons I wanted this watch was because it is one of the few to do both Google Assistant and Alexa. I only used Alexa and the speech recognition was good and it worked, the problem was engaging Alexa. You can't tilt to wake the microphone and just speak - you have to use your other hand to engage Alexa (or Google Assistant) which sort of defeats the purpose but whatever. That might be fine if the physical button didn't stink or if the OS could be relied on to locate Alexa quickly. Maybe you are more interested in the health and fitness aspects of this watch. I wasn't and never worked out when I owned it so I don't know if it redeems itself in this area but I do know Fitbit wants to gouge you for more money by convincing you that some of the more advanced data analytics is worth subscribing to - that too is a con for me. Prior to trying the Versa 3 out, I wore the Fossil Gen 4 and it's bigger and heavier than the Versa 3. I personally thought the Versa 3 was better suited for a smaller person (though I'm 5' 10" - so about average for a male). I found the Versa 3 size to be on the small'ish size and would have preferred it to be larger. This smaller size might be a pro for someone else but not for me. One more thing - I didn't just think it was small in comparison to the Fossil - but I felt like it was just too small for me period. Even my non-smart-watch is bigger. Overall I find this product to be a spectacular failure and I couldn't be happier to have returned it. I don't quite understand why everyone loves it (it's currently got 4.5 stars on Amazon) - but because I find it to be so awful and because everyone else doesn't and because good reviews matter to me - I am making a point to put this out there for your consideration. ... show more

  • Fitbit works great for my needs.
Color: Black/Black
I love the oxygen (SP02) monitoring at night. The system has minors flaws but for the cost it is a good value.
