I have a black and white kitchen with gray/white walls and a very large black laser cut baluster off my kitchen with a tree/limbs on it. These look fantastic to tie it all together. They are sheer for light but offer a little privacy. They look better than any valance that I looked at. I got the shortest one I could for the smaller window and then just had it shortened.
