I read some of the negative reviews and wonder if some are user error. It took about 10 mins to install without tools or instructions. They came with instructions, just unnecessary as it was a straightforward process. Used the plumbers tape, no leaks anywhere. The shower head does rotate up and down, side to side. (Just loosen the handle on it) I researched for a long time and could not find any reviews for any filtered shower head that after testing with a kit, the product did actually filter out chlorine or other contaminants. However, my skin and hair felt much softer after using this shower head. So, I would definitely say this showerhead does something. Shower pressure is great too. Is it a decent showerhead? Yes. Is it life changing? No. Highs: Easy to install. The flexibility of the hose is excellent. The flow restrictors are optional, with excellent water pressure the shower is steong. Meh: the “pressure wash” stream from the top will spray your ceiling and entire bathroom. I bought this after some hot water from the shower went down my nose and cause me to have a severe sinus issue. The regular water leaves red residue. The building is super old so I have little faith in the pipes. I easily installed this with poor instructions and it’s been the best thing I’ve added to my daily routine. My skin and hair feel better and I have peace of mind knowing that I’m not running old pipe water on my body. Also the red stains are completely gone. The settings are great and the reach of the hose is also nice. The shower is about 6 feet up and the shower head off its base nearly hits the bottom of the tub. Best investment ever! ... show more

Arrived when expected, as expected, and so far its use has exceeded my expectations. I'm hoping it will hold up. It's doesn't feel very durable, but I am still hopeful that its hose is truly stainless steel material and will stand the test of time seeing as it has a 3 year manufacture warranty.
