  • Well worth the money
Size: Gimbal Bearing Puller 1
Worked exactly as it should. I used for an alpha one gen 2 outdrive. Had the plate on wrong at first. Had the middle hole on the wrong side. The hole is for the oil fitting for the outdrive. Slide into the bearing, slide the t handles shaft all the way in to secure within the bearing. Used a 1 1/18 wrench to back the bearing out. Less than 10 minutes with the drive already out. Prior to ordering I tried a slide hammer with zero success. Hardest part was getting the bearing off the tool once out. I used a hose clamp to compress the end and the bearing fell right off. ... show more

  • Save yourself the headache buy this tool
Size: Gimbal Bearing Puller 1
I watched alot of YouTube videos on how to remove gimbal bearings. I would say 75% of them said to use a slide hammer to remove a gimbal bearing . So as per video I tried the slide hammer trick please dont waste your time like I did with this method . Wasted a day trying to remove the bearing with slide hammer so I bit the bullet and purchased this puller. This puller is worth every penny easy to follow instructions . I used the puller exactly how the instructions stated and the bearing came out so easy that I figured I was doing it wrong till the bearing came out. I Would highly recommend this tool to anyone who likes to do there own repairs on their boat . ... show more
