I used this wire along with a pulse type fence charger to keep small veggie loving small animals and deer out of my garden. I would not recomend it as a stand alone wire to deter large farm rambunctious animals like horses and cattle. Good price and easy to set up

This stuff is great! Wrap stuff in it, make a clothesline, trellis the plants, hold up the exhaust pipe, make hooks(a bit flimsy), it conducts electricity and heat. It does come on a handy spool, unfortunately it isn’t really big enough to make an outdoor table with. Maybe feed squirrels off of it??? The possibilities are endless. I assume it is an aluminum plating over steel. Pretty stiff, no way aluminum would be that tough. It should do what it is made for, Dont know how long before the aluminum "wears" and it rusts.. (But at the price (under ten bucks) is does whats intended.
