I wanted to like this clock, it has a lot of nice features. It did not work on a nightstand, the screen washes out badly when viewed from an angle, plus even on low setting it lit up the whole room even with all red letters. I thought OK, I will use it on my desk next to the monitor, was nice but when you stand up the screen washes out and was hard to read. These two strikes prompted me to return it. First of all, the overall size is 8 x 5.5 inches. I like this- not too big and not too small. I have mine set to all green and the layout that I want. Other combinations colors available too.
